If ever there was a game to run the ball more this was it.

Land in Green Bay? I'd hand him a bus ticket along with his pink slip as they left aAarowhead.
Lol..I said the same thing during the game. You are more generous with the buying him a bus ticket part though.

Oh for sure I’m not saying Rodgers wouldn’t have done any better - he would have. Tons of experience and has a feel for things Love won’t have for years if ever.
I think we win that game by 2 scores had Rodgers played. A lot of you were saying that the Chiefs sucked, I hadn't really watched much of them this year. I believe you all now. Something is totally off with Mahomes.

Yeah. In retrospect, I Think that game with Rodgers goes 23-16 Packers.

It’s amazing what Stud: Joe Barry has done with our iLB’s. Totally superior to anything we’ve had for years.

Imagine had we had a healthy Jaire and Za’darius in the mix. He did much of this without 2 of his best 3-4 defenders.

Can I ask what you expected, you said you expected him to look like 1st round talent, yet you hated the pick from day 1. Those 2 things seem contradictory to me.
I hated the pick because I thought it was too early to not go all in on Rodgers. A first round QB should show arm talent, and specific throws that make you say "yeah he's got potential"

There was not a single throw from that game that would have impressed anyone. He was jittery, unable to beat 1v1 coverage against the worst defense in the league with the best WR in the league.

Stop. Peyton Manning look like a guy that was gonna break every interception record in history as well. Dear Lord you folks think one game on the road in KC locks him as never even playing for a bad team in the future is the definition of being an ignant
He played on a team that got the #1 overall pick (aka horrible) in a league vastly different than today's

Love is playing on a team that went to back to back NFC championship games and is 7-1.. stop, just stop my god

I'm not going to try and sway you, since it sounds like your mind was made up 18 months ago. Just a little disappointed, as well as surprised that people give up on others that quickly.

Love has incredible physical tools. Way above average arm talent. But his inability to be accurate in tight windows is something that I'm not sure he can improve upon enough.

I think people are going to miss the big picture coming out of this game.

Yes, Love was bad. And that sucks.

But Love is not the present. Rodgers is. And this defense increasingly looks legit AND will be getting help coming back, like Z and Jaire.

I feel better about the 2021 season after today, not worse.

I thought he showed accuracy today when he was playing in rhythm and his footwork was there. But for large swathes of the night he was playing out of control and his mechanics were messy.

I haven't felt this good about the defense since 2010. Maybe some parts of 2014.

The problem has always been his inability to stay consistent. In training camp that has been the knock on him, he'll have great throws followed by ones that are killers (aka INTs)

He really was pretty inaccurate all game, except for one drive he threw some nice balls in soft coverage to MVS and to Tae on a couple comebacks and rollouts

, even King who yes dropped an INT but was more willing tackler tonight than I’ve ever seen from him.

I was very impressed on the Chiefs first pass play where Hill caught the ball in the flat and all he had to do was juke King and King held his own, didn't let Hill past him and made the tackle holding him to 2 yards. Yes, like you said he dropped the INT but he made a few nice plays. Good to have him back.

I was going to say the exact thing. I’d be more dismayed if Rodgers was out permanently. But we have time to work with Love and he wouldn’t ever start until he had significant and ongoing 1st reps. That alone would clean up several blips.
Plus I think his nerves showed, that goes away quicker with more playing time.

This D is legit. On the Road against a #6 scoring Offense. Missing several week 1 starters including J’aire and Z and then Stokes (and Kenny for a partial game). Great performance

I expected to lose but not because of ST. That is embarrassing. Now we have to replace another ST coach. 2 missed FGs and a muff. 9 points. It changed the way MLF had to call the second half with less runs. Would have rather seen AZ win the game last week on the final drive than this. Rodgers has nothing to do with our ST. Been better to lose 42-6.

I just see no point in trying to come to a conclusion right now. It was bad. He was responsible and so were other factors. He’s young. We’ll see.

Dud: Gameplan, I'm not sure how you get through a game like this and only manage 20 carries between your top two backs. Dillon in particular with his 5.8 ypc deserved a few more carries at least.

LOL and many thought Davante had issues, many cases. It’s foolish to declare such a definitive stance as you placed. Ignorance

If Rodgers plays we blow KC out. Unreal how Crosby can’t be counted on anymore. He barley makes his damn extra points without it hooking smh. I’m out on him they need a younger BETTER kicker at this point.

Aikman and Elway both looked horrible when they started their careers as well.

Tae showed continued flashes even as a rookie (Dolphins game, cowboys playoff game, etc).. as a QB you don't get the same amount of leyway that a WR gets.. not when you're following 2 legends and playing around a team who had back to back 13-3 seasons and was 7-1 heading into today's game

Yeah his rhythm throws weren't into real tight windows, though.

He hit a couple of nice ones in what appeared to be zone coverage, but I'd have to watch again to know for sure. And he hit Davante on a crosser, and an out that were good throws against man coverage. But for the most part I just don't recall many throws that stood out at all.
