I gave you an agree, but I would be fine with King being brought back on a lower end contract because of what has been discussed. However, I think because at times he does play at a decent level, teams will tend to overlook his injuries, as well as some of his deficient tackling and pay him more than the Packers...should.

I see the Packers not resigning him, he walks and only comes back if the market is suppressed and he realizes that a one year "prove myself deal" with one of the best teams in the NFL, is better than a multiple year lower end deal with a completely new team.
I agree I’d be fine if they could get him cheap... but don’t think he will be worth what someone else will be willing to pay.

I know I know but hear me out. People can take what I say with a grain of salt. Mvs is fast I get it speed can’t be taught. But to me he is just a guy. This is his 3rd year he hasn’t gotten better and hasn’t gotten worse will he will drop easy passes but then make a ridiculous catch to make up for it. Green Bay holds onto players way to long He is the most inconsistent player on this team imo if they had a true number 2 receiver they would be absolutely dominant. Anyone in this past draft has contributed to there teams big time! Lazard is a solid 3 receiver but they don’t have a 2 if they cut Mvs tmrw I could care less mvs will never turn out to be a STUD receiver what you see is what you get that’s not gonna change. They effed up the draft big time in the top 3 picks Dillon prob will be justified when they let jones walk but gosh just think of Patrick queen or claypool aiyuk would have done for Green Bay.. Rodgers wanted Jefferson they could have traded up for him. But they disrespect Rodgers and took a BUM. Then a bum te.. like they have 14 te s on there team and the ones they drafted do nothing! Lol Dafney useful. But let’s not forget this team is all Aaron Rodgers he is that effing good they 6-10 at BEST without Rodgers. They wasted himmm. Hopefully he can get it done in the playoffs! GPG

MVS, for all his warts, is a bonafide deep threat who finished the season 33/690/6, leading the league in both yards per reception (20.9) and average depth of target (17.8).

Saying that we could cut him tomorrow and it wouldn't matter is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this forum. Congratulations.

Really hard to know what the staff feels in terms of his potential replacement. The interest the team shows in re-signing him might be our only hint.

THERE in lies the conundrum. Nobody on the current roster is probably going to be better than King. Signing a Free Agent CB is probably more money than the Packers want to or can spend, so you are left with using a first or second round pick on one. Based on the last 7 or so years of drafts, that doesn't excite me too much either.

I expect to see a CB taken in the first three rounds if value is there on those picks because Alexander has an expiring contract after 21 season as well.

Honestly, some scenarios of how contracts wash out I'm finding myself wanting to mock us taking 2 CBs and a iDL with our first three picks.
The problem is we can still greatly use a solid help at WR, RB (jones is gone IMO) ILB and perhaps OL depending on offseason.

Yup and that is one guy you really don't want to let walk away. If he continues at the pace he is on, he may command Jalen Ramsey like money.

Sucks to have good players! :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Not just the way contracts wash out, but I think you need 2 higher round picked CB's in the draft just the way prospects wash out. Not to beat a dead horse, but how many 1st and 2nd round picks have the Packers used to land a guy like Alexander and a semi good but oft injured King?

Chances are we will be picking at 32 or somewhere close to that, short of a trade up, our draft prospects aren't going to be screaming "starting CB" even with the first pick.

I REALLY like Craig Newsome out of Northwestern, some will argue with me that he isn't 1st round good and I'd not argue, but I liken him to Michael Pittman at WR last year, I'm 100% fine with them grabbing him at 32 if they want because I just don't know if he'll be there at end of Round 2 honestly.

There are a couple other late 1st/ early 2nd guys I like. I think Asante Samuel Jr could be the real deal too.

I think you mean "Greg" Newsome II? "Craig" Newsome played for the Packers. He did have a son named "Craig Jr." Wonder if any relation to Greg?

I haven't even looked at the draft or prospects.

We will differ on it

I say it was a tough catch others say was easy

I’ll drop it now

Really? You'll drop it? You suck. You need to be cut from the group. It would be different if you were like the #30 poster but you are being counted on to be one of the top ones. You just can't cut it.

I said my peace, to me it a visual look and won’t change a mind on this instance

recall while back the internet dress with diff colors?

some saw blue green or what ever and others saw grey and red? or what ever it was..

this is same to me, I don’t want to get into a pissing match over something like this

If you read that stat on his 20.9 deep average you saw Nelson agholor right below him too. Agholor is a bum also. In fact they are basically the same player both drop a **** ton of balls Mvs is a little better but not by much.. He is better than the other receivers on our team besides Lazard and Adams obviously. But below him they have nothing. Not saying much. I wouldn’t lose sleep if he wasn’t on the team. He is “bonafide deep threat” by default on this team Aaron jones has far better hands then he does. I’m not a ignorant fan so I will criticize players as I see it. That’s fine if ur opinion is different than mine that’s what opinions are for. And Mvs sucks I don’t care what his stats say. They could have had AB on the field instead. If you ask me there hasn’t been any issues with “drama” in Tampa they wanna win and get actual talent.
