Alot of good and some bad on the defense.

Studs: Defense overall MINUS Kevin King. Shoutout to the Smiths, Savage, and Alexander. Offensively Devante did pretty decent today. Williams and Jones should also get some love today.

Duds: Kevin King. The dude got beat left and right, and gave up on a play that resulted in huge yardage. He did the same thing last week, but he made up for it with that interception. That is unacceptable.

MVS. Granted he did have that one huge catch from Rodgers that resulted in a touchdown, but he dropped several key balls that would've helped The Packers' momentum. I certainly believe in him being our #2 receiver but he has to improve.

Graham: For someone that doesn't block, how the hell did he end up with a holding call? That honestly surprised me! XD

Concerns: Having said that tackling HAS to improve as the team missed out on several key tackles that resulted in positive yardage and a touchdown. The run defense is a concern, considering for the second week in a row we've allowed the opposing running backs to have a field day.

Nevertheless the end defense gave up 16 points, and at the end of the day that's all that matters. 3-0, ahead in the division against a beat up Philly team coming Thursday.

Great win, but a short week. Go Pack Go!

Preston Smith, rest of the defense gets a 1/2 stud.

Offense gets a 1/2 stud. A lot to be excited about with this team but a couple concerning thing as well.

However considering we are 3-0 and have been pretty abysmal on offense, I will take it. Offense will get better.

Can't help but wonder how you improve tackling when you aren't allowed to practice it?

Studs:

Davante Adams, MVS, Jamal Truck Defenders Williams, Darnell Savage, Mike Pettine for bringing out the big stick and hitting the players on the head with it after they gave up 10

Matt LaFleur calling better plays and saving timeouts with smart challenge

Duds: Tony Brown

GMo

Super Duds: The Philadelphia Eagles for allowing the FRAUD Lions to win, and the NFL phantom OPI call on Sproles.

You may as well give one to The Raiders as well. I know Minnesota is feeling pretty good, especially after last week.

On another note:

Major dud: Bear fans. I'm looking at their forums right now and they are saying how The Packers aren't a strong team and have benefited with calls, and have faced bad teams. Now, ignore the fact that Minnesota is now 2-1, but one of those "bad teams" was Chicago. So basically what they're saying is that their team is bad. These guys are a riot. XD

Dud goes to the offense. I absolutely cannot see this team making a deep with its LACK of playmakers on that side of the ball and suspect play calling. Absolutely not

Dude it's the third week. I agree that the offense needs work, but plenty of time for the offense to come around. Just because we aren't blowing our opponents out like we used to doesn't mean it won't get there. We're definitely starting to become a more balanced team and I think that is what is going to help us get our next Lombardi. I'm certain by November you'll see the offense come into its own and hell possibly next week at the earliest.

Have a cookie friend! We won! Rejoice!

Studs:

both Smiths - wow these guys are doing an admirable job and both lead this d.

Gary - comes in and makes a huge sack, nicely done

Alexander - had some hiccups but creating a turnover when the d was gassed was enormous

Martinez - Blake had 12 or 13 tackles, had a few hiccups as well but really steady

Savage/Amos - what a huge difference our safeties are making this year

Crosby - i know he missed one but he made the clutch fg when it was crucial

Adams - continues his play at a high level, they need to design more plays where he succeeds

Jenkins - i though he came in and had an impact, great to have him being versatile and helped the offense

Aaron Jones - not as many touches as one would like but he got in the end zone

Williams - say what u want he is starting to become a steady alternative just needs field vision to improve

Duds:

King - stopping when beat is a give up and the rest of his teammates I am guessing were not amused. Never just stop your a pro.

MVS - only a mini dud, gotta hang onto the ball its going to cost the team with drops

Graham - little to no value, needs to be in spot duty when Tonyon or Lewis needs a rest. Cannot block at all any more. What he once was to today is startling - hang em up.

Entire Defensive tackling no specific players too many to mention - gotta get this under control - the defensive calls were good just gotta execute and tackle low. fundamental skill and can be cleaned up with technique mod.

All in all, this was a very solid win and the defense rose up and snatched this game. 3-0 start is way beyond what I thought would b after 3 games, so its very successful to this point. Think about how good this team could be with our offense revving, and the D executing. Recipe for a deep run. I'm thrilled so far. No question

Funny y'all should mention the Chicago fans lol I'm actually in Chicago this week to meet with a client.

They're such loyal fans but let's be honest they're not ever gonna win anything, this isn't 1985 ...like the Vikings too so much loyalty for a team that won't ever win anything! So it doesn't really matter what they think lol

It was zone coverage and his safety help was late coming over. Don't remember who the safety was, but he was the dud on that play.

Completely agree with your assessment. For the similar reason you gave a mini dud to MVS, I'm also giving one to Gmo.

He is right that we NEED another receiving threat though. When Adams is shut down, we do not have anyone else that can be relied upon to catch the ball on a consistent basis.
