I spelled it right. Cling ons near ur ****.Like window stickers? Or are we talking the warriors of the Klingon race with the home world called Qo'noS?
What's the old joke? The Starship Enterprise is a lot like toilet paper, it circles Uranus, looking for Klingons.I spelled it right. Cling ons near ur ****.
Jets are going to be soooo gooood!BREAKING: The New York Packers Jets are signing Eddie Lacy to a 1-year, 2-dozen donuts per day contract. Per Adam Schetfer. #NFL

Lol, that's absolutely embarrassing. That's Eddie only 15 pounds above his last playing weight with the Packers!
It was also a joke.Lol, that's absolutely embarrassing.
Chiefs have a solid organization and a great coach. Boy, I wish we had him when Holmgren left.Lots of trade rumors and speculation going on concerning the Packers.
Sounds like the Chiefs just acquired WR DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans for a 5th round that could turn into a 4th. Given their situation at WR, probably a nice trade for the Chiefs, but glad the Packers didn't make it.
I think their WR group is just fine and bringing in an injured 32 year old isn't what they need. If the Packers do make any trades, I would hope it would be for either a DT or CB.
Saleh was the wrong firing IMO. They should have fired Hackett. However, that wouldn't have sat well with #8....who is now their franchise albatross.I don't really know much about Saleh. But I guess he was very good with SF. I believe the Jets O problems had more to do with the old Packer and Denver coach.
Apparently Saleh was brought in as a defensive consultant to help out with the Packers offense. Doesnt sound like its a long term thing. He's staying with MLF and his wife and will be leaving town in a day or two.OK....don't everyone go crazy, but.....
Robert Saleh was, indeed, spotted at the Green Bay Packers practice on Wednesday afternoon.

Started a new thread on it.Apparently Saleh was brought in as a defensive consultant to help out with the Packers offense. Doesnt sound like its a long term thing. He's staying with MLF and his wife and will be leaving town in a day or two.
I picked up some "rocket fuel" from there earlier this year along with the sugary chocolate. Still sipping some to ward off the chill.I'm from Uranus, does that count?
Off topic a bit, but ironic that they need a stud DL when they've spent so many first round picks on D. And I don't understand why the front 4 aren't playing better. Hafley's plan was to get them off the ball fast to disrupt pass or run. That just hasn't worked out. But Hafley got creative with stunting LBs and dropping a safety in to blitz now and then.No Thanks on Reddick for me. He might be a good player, but he is now 30. More importantly for me, he isn't honoring a contract he signed. I was happy to see that the Jets drew the line and said "play or sit".
I also think the Packers are just fine with the core of guys they have on defense, especially at Linebacker/DE. Now if they could some how find a stud DL to trade for, I might be on board with that.
Haasan won't be playing again this year without a new contract and honestly, if I was a GM, I wouldn't want to be the one to give him that contract, plus lose a draft pick in the process.

Now if he could just light a fire under the down four........ I don't see why it can't work. But if Gluten can bring in a good DL, he should.

Good observation. I'm due for a shoulder replacement, probably next year. Most of the people I know at the gym, men and women, have or had shoulder problems.Starting to think that the majority of people in the world have had some sort of shoulder surgery. I went back to work Tuesday after my rotator cuff surgery and I was wearing my sling and I was blown away by the number of people who said "rotator cuff? I had that"
I never could tell the difference between the Klingons and the Romuluns (they all had bad prostheses, make up). Hmm, I don't know if Romuluns were in the show. It sounds right. You must be logged in to see this image or video!
Reminds me of the days when MVS was the Packers' #2 WR behind Adams. Says a lot about where that WR group is now and how well the Packers have drafted at that position.I don't see the Packers being interested in MVS, nor do I see MVS being interested in the Packers.
From MVS's standpoint: He may be at the crossroads of his career. Landing on the Packers PS and not seeing anymore playing time, might be the final nail of his NFL career. While he knew the Packer system when Rodgers was the QB, Love is now the QB and the system has no doubt changed a bit.
From The Packers standpoint: The Packers have a deep WR room of talented young players, all of whom seem to be getting better as they see more playing time. MVS is basically a 1 trick pony ("Go deep"). I just don't see that as an overwhelming benefit to the offense or the development of the young group of WR's.
MVS will be looking for a team that due to lack of talent and/or injuries needs him to be ready to play ASAP. The Packers are not one of those teams IMO.
Eesh...... we went through this with you years ago. Scantling had no drop issues when he left here.Reminds me of the days when MVS was the Packers' #2 WR behind Adams. Says a lot about where that WR group is now and how well the Packers have drafted at that position.
And yeah, brining MVS back is a non-starter. As far as I know he never really solved his drop problem (maybe he did). He was just a very fast guy with limited route running ability. And he would be a PS guy. So no, not good for the Packers, not good for MVS.
I shouldn't have written anything about his pass catching once he left as I didn't follow his career. My bad.Eesh...... we went through this with you years ago. Scantling had no drop issues when he left here.
