Didn’t see the game but watching Douglas’s pick to end the game the Refs have got to be a huge stud for not calling P.I. on that play. I mean he streched the WR’s jersey a foot out from his body. I think he not only held him, he pulled him back and used it to slingshot himself forward to catch the ball.

The refs could have called PI on several of the Packers INTs.

I'll just go out and say it....

Studs: the Packers, because even on a bad day they are winning games. Everyone wants pretty and this may end badly, but I'd rather be playing this way now instead of in the playoffs. Good teams find a way to win and that's what the Packers keep doing. Come on everyone, find your inner Ted Lasso. Believe.

Studs- Rashan Gary deserves some love tonight. That man is relentless in the pursuit, an absolute monster. Also- Yosh (when he was out there) was an absolute stud. Rasul Douglas. Man, when it’s Douglas, JA and Stokes that secondary is going to be a real problem for any pass hungry offense.

Duds- Run D. The tackling gave me 2014 NFC championship vibes. Must be figured out now.

Where was the run stopping defense we saw earlier this season. They do not inspire confidence moving forward.

The Packers currently rank 31st in opponents rushing yards per attempt. They somehow need to improve before the playoffs.

I think the biggest problem was the offense going ice cold again.

I’m not ecstatic with the defense but at the same time all that running was done down 2 scores. Seems that happens a lot. We get up, we go cold on offense and we give up yards like crazy in defense.

The hang on to win. Anyway, it’s ok to keep winning while not being perfect.

He did not pull the shirt as much as King against Tampa but he used it to better effect.

Lord told me this morning that on his Day, Christmas Day. He only gives the next little step. That way (we) or his team must rely on him in Faith. If we (they) get too many steps ahead of the obstacles in or path, we begin to rely on our own efforts. The gardener prunes us to make us grow in fullness not to harm us, although it doesn’t feel that way when we get snipped. It works that way universally, not just with Football, but in life.
What a terrific step we take in Faith when we see our weakness in front of us, yet we still believe in the goodness ahead as we are pruned. Our Faith in what we don’t see? is credited to righteousness. Lord help us believe!

We are the worstest 12-3 team ever. Believe it!

I saw at least 2 blatant holds not called on 2 massive plays by Chubb. One on Barnes another on Lowry. Let them play if it’s not egregious. That play you referenced was holding, but it was ticky tack and if you call that there’s 13 other infractions that should’ve been called. I saw it yesterday, Facemasks, pushing off, holding an arm bar, hooking a Defender, arm fighting all the way down the field.. and it was on both sides and in multiples, yet never egregious or vindictive in nature.

I’m actually proud of the Refs on BOTH sides! this reminded me of how they let the Legion of Boom get physical a few years back. Those 2 in particular were fighting all day long.. Do we call a flag every play again? this isn’t Badminton.

ThankYou! Refs for allowing Football as we’ve gotten complacent in wanting Flag football.

PS. The only egregious bad call I saw anyways was on Cleveland’s #77 for a false start. That poor guy didn’t flinch, yet I doubt 4th n 22 vs 4th n 27 changed the game also. They should’ve picked that flag up.

I'm not panicking about the defense yet, but they've had a rough few weeks. Got to get that corrected. And LaFleur is being a little weird with some of his late game play calls.

Interesting take this morning by Randy Moss on that Douglas game ending interception. He says the receiver first pushed to get separation and could have been called for offensive pass interference, so when Douglas retaliated, the ref probably thought could have called on both but neither was egregious just so let it play

The receiver also pushed off in an attempt to gain separation before the pull took place. Could have gone both ways. Refs decided at that point to let them play. In fact among the penalties called that day they were at the line of scrimmage or special teams. None were PI, illegal contact, or defensive holding on either side. Once you let that stuff go throughout a game players know how far they can push the limits.

Who would have thought that Keke not playing would effect the run defense so much. Kenny was good, but. maybe still sluggish from covid. Whatever the issues they need to get them fixed..NOW!

I would only question that last INT. The others in this game were just good defensive plays IMO. I thought there was one time a Cleveland DB should have been called for PI on Lazard earlier near the goal line. Someone on another forum said he felt the zebras just ignored a lot of PIs for both teams yesterday.

Yes, if we can get a big lead we'll force teams to abandon the run and then we can pin our ears back and harass their QB.

I wonder if on that play if the refs called the wrong number...? Did anybody record the game and can look?

WTF happened? I thought the D was finally getting it together. All talk of fire Joe Barry was disappearing. Now, the defense is getting gashed in the running game, like there is no tomorrow.

I wonder if that had anything to do with Rodgers getting his toe stepped on twice. The Packers couldn't run the ball against the Browns much either. MLF's play calling left a lot to be desired, too.

Studs: I will mention that the special teams was ok.

Aaron Jones - Ran and gashed the opposition and proved his value as a slasher.

Duds:

Defense. The whole unit is not attacking gaps at the point of attack on running plays.

Lethargic and inconsistent game. Hopefully this team gets this lull out of its system on the defensive side of the ball.

They did. Not even any illegal contact. Next week you may have a crew that will call everything.

The problem with the offense is that they are missing 6 starters, 2 of whom are pro level players. Amazing they can even put 24 on the board with the exodus of talent.
