I think he’s in Austria. He’s not on here when most of us in the US are. Those “online” indicators aren’t very accurate Ive found
One of the perks of my job is I can run the IP of every post. I shielded some of the details but for Captains latest unless he runs a VPN:

ISP:Hutchison Drei Austria GmbH

Still my point was why does it seem like he only posts at one time during his day, if he is on the forum at many times during the day? You don't need to find someone new to apologize for, now that Rodgers is no longer on the team. :D

probably because he's not really on the forum as much as it says he is. These things say you're online all the time because maybe a screen was open on a phone or other computer, but he's not actually on a device. He's probably sleeping, or right now, maybe eating lunch

Think of it this way, Rodgers is 39 and not immortal. He claims he was 90% ready to retire, so his reign in GB was nearing its end anyway. At least before it did, the Packers got some draft stock, cap relief and might already have his successor in place.

My point is what business is it of yours or anyone else's when he or any other poster decides to post or not post for that matter? Are you the post police? Do you post every time you come on here? If so why? If not why? Of course Captain will probably include this in his next post a lot differently than my response.

My comments were in response to his comment that the reason why he quotes a ton of other people's posts in a single post is because we're all posting during the day while he's sleeping and he has a ton of posts to respond to when he wakes up. But he's in Europe, which is not that far ahead of the US, it's not like he's in Asia. If he really does login only once a day, then fine.

I agree with you that he may post, or not post, whenever he wants. But his comment was in response to someone else annoyed with his posting style, and I have seen others mention their annoyance as well. If he does login at different times during the day, then perhaps he could respond at those other times so his posts are shorter and less annoying? Just a thought. But he's free to post however and whenever he chooses.

Depending on what part of the US and what part of Europe, I'd say he's easily "far ahead" of us.

Hello, it's me, I'm in Wisconsin. Currently Central Standard Daylight Time. I am 6 5 hours behind the UK (-6 -5 UTC.) I believe Cap is in Austria, which is +2 UTC, for a total of an 8 7 hour difference. As of this posting, 10:07a CST, that'd make it 5:07pm (17:07 ) local time for Cap.

I'd call that significant.

EDIT: I had a moment, when we "Spring ahead" we're on Daylight/Fake time. It's still a 7 hour difference.

How about we discuss the Packers rather than where board members live or how many times a day they post?

I'd like to know how you run IP's unless I'm still considered a junior mod with zero capabilities

7 hours later than our Packer CST. His 3am is our 8pm, hence the early morning posts.

Well, for me, it will completely depend on how Love plays. Gute obviously thought at the time that someone was going to take him very soon. That said, I was watching an older Packer game against the Jets and Rodgers slung the ball amazingly. Not many QBs could throw it like that. I'm hoping Jordan is good at throwing the long ball. I can already see he is good at mid range. Obviously, to me, I think in a longer time frame than you do.

Don't get me wrong, as I have stated repeatedly dislike for the selection of Love has absolutely nothing to do with what I think about him as a player. I was opposed to the Packers selecting a quarterback in the first round that year no matter which of the ones still remaining on the board they ended up drafting.

It's probable that I'm listed as a member being online because I don't log out when I'm finished posting and have the browser window open either on my desktop or mobile phone. The reason I don't post anymore after getting home from work is that I have a 3 1/2 year old toddler to take care of and no offense to anyone but it makes much more fun spending time with her instead of being around the forum all the time just to not annoy any of you quoting several posts at once.

Well this date snuck up fast, here I was thinking they had until late May/early June to decide on a 5th year option.

The deadline for the Packers to pick up Love’s option is Tuesday. Doing so would commit Green Bay to paying Love a $20.272 million salary for the 2024 NFL season. If the Packers decline to pick up Love’s option, he can become a free agent after the 2023 season.

If they have any faith in Love's ability to win games, they almost have to pick up the option. They might just give Love a new contract on Tuesday.

I think it's a no brainer to pick up the option, but I doubt a new contract will happen just yet. Both sides will want to wait on that, until they know what he's actually worth.

How did this thread devolve into a technical discussion on Internet Protocol addresses?
