Well he did stop. He’s not dumb either . That RB 100% laid down and if you don’t believe it rewatch that last drive. The one right before they kneeled on it multiple times. He showed us mercy that was a stomping

I remember this same sentiment from a Cowboys fan. He says they just ran out of time. BS the Packers humiliated the Cowboys

The last drive of course, I was speaking to the entire rest of their possessions.

If we think all we have to do is clean up a few penalties we’re deceiving ourselves. We’ve got problems on several fronts. Thats just one of them. We’ve got serious work to do to top Detroit in their home.

Do I think we’re capable ceiling wise? Maybe. But Jordan better have a 2023 back 9 revelation.

I will agree with you that we can play sloppy and somehow still win against below average teams. That sounds terrible but it’s actually meant that if we clean things up? Really clean things up? We can then play competitive against good teams.

I strongly think you're taking my one comment here and running with it more than it is meaning. I've harped constantly on many facets and have admitted the "wheel is wobbling" a few more things get loose thing is falling off and that is just as likely as tightening a few things and it becoming rock solid.

But for the record for anyone reading (not directed at you) so they don't think I don't see the issues presently that exist on this team:

I've petitioned/shared for the addition of an edge and a CB....because we are NOT getting enough at either spot out of starters...if I felt it was just a few penalty issues I'd not say that.

I've petitioned/shared for Cooper to be thrown in there full time and let the growing pains happen because Quay isn't being good enough and I'd rather have Cooper in their with same issues but more playmaker type plays possible.

I've petitioned/shared for Nixon to NEVER see slot because we are weaker because of it.

I've petitioned/shared for Heath to see more snaps due to our WRs struggling to catch the freaking ball.

I've petitioned/shared this past week for Love to get the two week rest.

I've petitioned/shared that Kenny Clark has been playing abysmally bad compared to what he ought to be.

I've petitioned/shared how LVN growth has stagnated in his young career, which yes is normal for rookies at times (ala Wyatt) but in a contending year it sucks to have happening.

....but sure I just think a few penalties less and we're automatic SB participants.

That would infer we get Chase to replace?! :coffee:

Oh Yeah

Just saw Preston trade was announced at 1:30pm or over an hour ago. According to Rapoport

Although, for the glass half full crowd, that's four losses, three of which were Overtime, 2 points, and 3 points.
And Wilson and Carroll are no longer there. Nor is Richard Sherman or Beast Mode. Guess who their QB was when we beat them in 2009?

Campbell is the LAST coach to stop. Dan would have LOVED to put up 40 on the Packers.
He also knows it is a 17 game schedule. He does not want to suffer unnecessary injuries and he also knows he has to face us again in a month.

Will lose at least three including upcoming Lions, Vikings and Seahawks games. Possible loss to 49ers if they get some guys back. Makes this team 10-7 or possibly 11-6 but stretching a little. One of the 2 Bear games could be difficult as well. Is anyone curious why GB is silent in trades, with the holes, the inconsistent play, the depth issues on OL, DL, LB, DB's... just interesting that they are silent while KC, Pitt, Commanders and contenders have made moves to fill spots that they see as upgrades or depth. Reading between the lines, either they believe they have a great roster or they don't know and will roll with what they have no matter what. They want to keep their 7 (+ 1) I guess.
I think we have a better chance at Seattle than against the 9ers. There is a chance they have McCaffrey back. Both teams know the West is wide open right now and the winner does not need 12 wins. The Packers are young in just about every position. They are uncertain WHICH spot they need filled the most. One move they did make was getting a kicker.

I believe it is Azeez and we are going to try and extend him hence cutting ties with Preston and freeing up future money....

Edit - not right away extension but keeps it possible
That would be cool.

Going to miss Preston. He had a nice run in GB. Was mostly a good signing and seemed to really fit our culture.
