The Packers need to go into this game as if it's a "tune up" game... starters play lights-out, crisp, disciplined, and dismantle NO by halftime. MLF can then begin sprinkling in backups in Q3, with most starters given Q4 off. Perfect time of year for a great game & give backups some playing time. Packers 38-Aints 17

Yes That’s the approach. Don’t rest your guys until that playoff spot gets locked. Let them know if we can get up 3 scores in 4th we will gradually rest some players due to a short week with travel. Otherwise we go into this with attitude this is Playoff game #1.
7 games left with 1 SB bye week
11-4 were a lock
Win this and we are 6 weeks from a SB Ring for each player. Your level of play going forward will highly likely determine your Salary and quality of lives for your family for the next 20 years. Multiplied by every player, coach and staff member you have met and their entire family. No pressure Here!

Never underestimate a back-up QB. Just look at what Willis did in his two games. They just have to go in there with a fire in their bellies and sharp focus. ML needs to use his head and not lose focus. Keep his head in the game. We should win this game but it's not going to be a walk in the park. GPG

Hopper got 3 snaps last week. Wonder if they’ll use him peppered in a little more. I expect Quay to take a week off.

We lost Jordan Morgan for the season on IR this morning. Both 3rd Rounders have had little to zero impact on O or D (other than Teams)
Edgerrin and Evan are life savers. 2 players of the top 5 draft picks that contribute. Cooper is playing like he’s 2 Defenders

LaFleur has his team focused and won't be taking this team lightly. They've had too many close calls against inferior opponents. I expect the Packers to take care of business. Packers 31 - Saints 10.

The media will assert that NO has been playing better D lately. Which by itself I’d say is accurate. 16.8 per across 5 games and none over 20 points (Washington) last week. However this at Lambeau. 4 of those 5 were played in NO in a Dome where they traditionally play better. The other was at NY giants. Not really a good comp if you ask me.

Sounds like no Carr and no Kamara. Frankly, I didn't remember who else is on their team offensively without looking it up and they're really banged up - no Taysom Hil, no Shaheed, no Olave, and MVS got hurt last week and is questionable. Yikes. Barring giving up a couple of defensive/ST TDs, this is a mismatch on paper.

Just don't relax. They have guys auditioning for a job next year.

The beauty of the outcome of winning Monday night is depending on the outcome of Washington or Minnesota we can get a solid look at Seeding.

This is our best chance to put Washington in our rear view. Washington plays the Eagles. IF Washington loses there’s many scenarios where we can’t lose our 6th at minimum IF we take care of business. Plus an outside chance at s 5th if we take down The Vikings

I do not think any team should sit anyone anytime. Recipe for rust and disaster come playoff time.(currently see Jaire) if he doesnt play at all and then shows up in the playoffs itll be a huge mistake. Reps matter.

Win and hope we have no more injuries. The following game is a big one.

I basically agree with you not to sit players. It does not help for the next game. Just don't agree with the anyone anytime statement. I can see resting them in the 4th quarter if they have played well or they just look like crap.

Absolutely agree. As I said elsewhere though. There are a bunch of scenarios where we lock a 6th Seed before our final Bears game. What’s odd in those outcomes and is that we can’t better or worsen our Seeding with at least 1 game remaining. In that case I’d strongly recommend lowering the snap counts for many Starters. They don’t have to sit, but treat it like a Preseason game or allow them to play for a 2-3 Quarters. Get Malik or Lloyd or Hopper etc. 1-2 Quarters to keep our Starters fresh.

The last thing we need is Love repeating Week 1 with a Season Bookend injury with 1 minute left. That or Go near full throttle Run game in 3rd-4th Quarters and use Wilson/Brooks Keep Jacobs fresh for Wildcard Weekend. Beating The Saints locks our playoff spot and in the case above, gives us ample opportunity to rest.

After watching Washington at NO,
I think we’re a tick ahead of Washington’s Offense. We’re more balanced and we can Run against even good Defenses. The Saints do have some talent on D but they aren’t a Detroit or Minnesota level D either. I think we can put up 24-30 points depending on weather.

I can also see colder weather or sub 32 and possible snow flurries being a problem for Rattler. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a lower scoring IF weather plays a factor
GB 24 Saints 13
Or
GB 23 Saints 16
something like that
