The Texans have ruled out four defensive starters on Friday's injury report. Both inside LB's, Azeez Al-Shaair and Henry To'oTo'o. CB Kwame Lassiter and S Jimmy Ward. Not to mention their most dynamic receiver.

I live in Texas, so I've seen some of their games and those two LB are really good, especially Azeez. They're going to have a difficult task stopping the Packers. Looks like the Packers caught them at the right time
That's ok with me. We've spent entire seasons on the other side of that ledger.

Really? We are last in Qb pressures?

I’m not seeing this. Sacks we are last or close.

Many I see complaining (not here) but on other forums or social media are behaving like they’d trade the defense we have for a worse team defense but have ten more sacks…

Per pro football reference stats we are 13th overall in pressure percentage.

Ravens have one less sack than us and Bills are tied with us with eight.

We are literally the 5th leading team in hurries

Lassiter is also a good corner, a really good corner. He's a rookie but has been doing everything right & have only had a few mistakes. Jimmy Ward is our Captain on defense, he's the tone setter.

Us fans are going to use those injuries as an excuse, but DeMeco isn't going to let the team use it. No excuses.

Looks like Houston is really banged up for this game. Keep the pedal to the metal nonetheless. You never know how the ball is going to bounce.

They are 5 and 1. A lot of people think they're QB is for real and so too the defense. I think this is an important game for us to win. Pedal to the metal. No running only to use up clock. Run if you can but continue to mix it up.
They improved on their penalties in the AZ game. They make sure they keep to that trend or penalties could be a killer.

Blue 58 had a good podcast this week about the huge drop off in pass rush stats from every player from last year. The worst drop is from Gary, but LVN, Smith, Clark, Enagbar, and Brooks have also had huge drops in pass rush productivity. As I've mentioned before, the front 7 has been really really bad this year. Hafley is a DB coach. He knows how to get the secondary better but the front 7 has to improve dramatically or you're looking at a middling team that will routinely give up 35 -40 points to good offenses.

Despite all their injuries, the Texans will be a big test. We are 0-2 in 'big test'games. Love and the offense have been getting in a groove lately, and should have a big day against a banged up Texans defense. The challenge will be for our defense and how they handle Stroud, Mixon and company.
Packers, 31-24
