Studs: the GREEN BAY PACKERS DEFENSE actually winning a football game nearly single handedly

Also Trubiscuit for being slaw as hell.

Dud: Aaron Rodgers played a lousy football game. Gotta call it like it is

Studs: Defense Take a bow! You guys are the MVP of tonight.
Shout out to Savage, Martinez, and Amos (how fitting)
Graham with the TD it felt good to see him catch that TD considering how much crap he's been getting.

Duds: Offense has been rather sloppy, but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt due to the Bears defense being stellar. On top of that this is the first game. We could've scored a on a few drives if not for a few bone headed penalty calls. Rodgers was off, but I imagine he'll improve.

Not the prettiest win, but our boys showed toughness tonight. It's nice to see the defense bail out the offense considering how many times it's been the other way around.

On a side note if you guys want a laugh, go over to The Bears forum. They are a pissed!

Packer defense
JK Scott. A star is born
Amos - sticking it to your former team
Savage - you will be special
Smith and smith - you both look like great signings
Trubisky - packers may pay your signing bonus if you get an extension.

Duds
MLF what a stupid challenge on a play of little meaning.
NBC - just sucks. Which packer batted a pass in 1st quarter? I dont know. Announcers were too busy talking about the bears playera and how great they are instead of telling us whats going on.
Geronimo - where you playing?
Taylor - time for Jenkins

Studs-Defense. They saved our bacon.

Scott - Heck of a punt for 65 yards.

The offense looked ugly except for the TD series.

Did anyone see Aaron giving Pettine a playful shove? Pettine just stood there and laughed.

Well done, Defense.

NBC was a total **** show! I was getting sick watching the plays where they did that disgusting side angle.

JK Scott best punter we probably ever had.

For the first time in eons the D pulled through and claimed a win when the offense was not that good.

Jimmy Graham for finally showing up.

Tramon Williams made some good smart vet plays.

Duds
Aaron Rodgers will you please slide for once in your life again.
O-Line was swiss cheese.

Whoever made the call to throw on 2nd down to kill the clock. That was almost a disaster.

Studs: Adrian Amos, and the two Smiths

Jimmy Graham for scoring a TD

Duds: the whole OL and awful offense in general. MVS invisible and Gute is awful at WR finding.

The win was good but this team is nowhere near good enough to make the playoffs and win the Superbowl. Offense needs to get back to 2011 form for that to happen.

Studs:
-coverage and pressure D.
- special teams. It was weird to see good punt coverage, but it was lovely.
- the teaser drive of what this offense can show when clicking for a TD.

DUDS:
- OLINE, but this is easily a top 3 defense.
- running game. This I hope is due to bears d and still helping new offense.
- clock management. Some things remain from the last staff. Horrible clock management tonight.

All in all, this was a hard fought win, and worth it. Defense STOOD up, and offense did just enough against arguably the best defense in the league.

I feel the arrow points up tonight.

This is exactly what needed to happen, the D to carry the team while the offense sputters a long and is learning. Doesn't matter if it's Rodgers at QB, there's still a learning curve to be had. This was a Great defense we faced on the road with a 1st year coach in his 1st ever game and on the road with a new offense. WTF did you expect? They'll get better, it's not like they're in year 4 of the offense.
