Duds: coaching, Love, and the whole offense. Defense, except Cooper, and Valentine.
Stud: Special teams, except for the costly penalty.

Stud:MLF for not playing all his Aces b4 the play-offs

Dud:MLF for not having a clue on how to beat a top team and substandard playcalling/managing a game.

Seems like the reasons you gave to MLF for being a stud would have greatly impacted his ability to not be a dud.

Stud : 4Q
Dud : 1-3Q

If things could just click for this team for 4Qs against the top teams instead of 2 1/2Q of football they could be in Detroit's position instead of being a 6/7 seed.

Gary- show up in a big game? Nope
McKinney- he did nothing
Clark- failed to show up.
LVN- another game with no pass rush.
Alexander- he needs to come back faster from injuries. He's letting the team down.
Love- can't wait until the 4th quarter to get it in gear.
Studs-
Cooper- He at least plays with some intensity.

Very frustrating 3 quarters. No pressure. Well, the vikings got pressure.
Their refusal to beef up the dline boggled my mind. When they do sign or draft a guy, that's needed, the pit him on the practice squad and never played him. See Jonathan Ford, Jarran Reed.

DUD:
Bullard was a nightmare at Safety. He got burned on a fake for a TD, then let their RB roam free for a game sealer while he got caught napping staring at the Camera on National TV. Literally.

MLF.
Once again failed to come out playing fast. He just refuses to learn what works. He tried to play keep away in a game where he went from missing 3 D starters to 4 starters. As if MN wasn’t going to score against our mess in the secondary.

Failure to use RB’s in the Passing game. Matt just will not tolerate Jacobs or Wilson in the short passing game. ZERO targets to the RB group and just 4 targets to TE’s.

Thats 4 total targets to 4 players across 4 Quarters!! 57 yards on 4 targets for (14.2 per target) but we waited until deep into the 4th Quarter. What are we afraid of with our RB’s??

Vikings?? 15 targets to 4 RB’s and TE’s for 120 yards and 1 TD. That’s 10.3 yards PER target

Now appears well play 1 of the top teams in the playoffs. #5 would've been our best chance but doesn't look very promising. But there's always hope.

Overall D performance even while they were down 3 starters and lost our backup Safety. We watched our Offense struggle for 3.5 quarters but still refused to go away.

Valentine. I was impressed with him he’s actually an above average starting CB! I really mean that as a compliment. He plays with vigor and spunk.

Karl Brooks had a good game. 1 sack,
1 TFL, 1 PD, 1 QB HIT

Edgerrin Cooper lives in the backfield.
4 TFL!

DUD
Ref who gave Vikes 3 points on a retry. That was a ridiculous call and even the Ref analyst who said those don’t get called unless it affects a play directly.

Pass Rush as a whole did very little. Also very minimal pressure was applied series to win rushing 4 regular (kinda had to) but it didn’t work.

Stud: Cooper, Valentine,

Dud: Wide receivers. Couldn't get open and can't make difficult catches. Reed needed to make the 4th down catch.

Inability to handle the blitz. How about some quick slants or screens to Kraft?

Lack of pass rush and too many holes in the zone. The Vikings are like the Lions. They get open and they catch everything.

MLF should have taken the 3 points in the 1st half. Brady was right. In a close game on the road, put the 3 on the board.

The return of the untimely penalties. Thought we had overcome that.

Overall, it was a disappointing performance. Certainly has to shake their confidence. They'll be one and done regardless of who they meet in the playoffs if they can't play better. Getting the injured players back would help.

I'm not sure what to make of this game. They stunk to high heaven for 3 1/2 quarters and then somehow make a game of it at the very end, but couldn't finish it off. Very much like the first game between these two, but worse. You can't win in the NFL playing for only half a quarter.
