Studs are Watson, Brooks and Jacobs.

Duds are the entire defense and Matt LeFleur. His decision making today was absolutely putrid. Way too many emotional decisions made and too few cerebral ones.

Studs: Watson, Jacobs, a good "debut" (basically) from Brenton Cox

Duds: Basically everyone else on the defense. LaFleur's red zone playcalling and consistent trend of coming out flat after bye/long breaks. The Bears have one of the worst coaches in the league right now and frankly ours didn't look appreciably better today.

I'm with a lot of you. Matt's in game decisions leave a lot to be desired. If we take the FGs and sure points my blood pressure isn't thru the roof.

Of course if we did kick the field goal; chicago might still have the ball.

Studs:
1. Karl Brooks - There is no victory without the blocked FG
2. Christian MF Watson - 4 Rec, 150 yds
3. Josh Jacobs - Just get him the ball by any means necessary

Duds:
1. MLF - Good God Coach, stop getting in your own way. Stop trying to be cute, run the ball on 2nd and 1, throw the ball on 2nd and goal from the 11, and kick the FG on 4th and goal from the 6.
2. MLF - 2 goal to go series with no points today ( reference previous dud mentioned above for explanation)
3. Defense - Can't let a team as poorly as the Bears were playing coming into this game dominate you all day. 19 pts allowed doesn't give any justice for what they actually did.

H.M.
1. Offensive Line kept Love clean all day. 1 sack allowed, Love actually ran out of bounds while trying to pass.
2. Brenton Cox - Sack and a TFL in 1st game after the Preston trade.
3. 11 straight wins over Da Bears

Sequence of the interception was more frustrating than not going for the 3. 2nd and 1 then a play is called that ends up resulting in illegal receiver down field, some garbage wide sweep run by Reed then the pick. Had a chance to go up 14-3 and drive just disintegrates.

Dud.
Hafley on Final Bears drive. We sack Caleb twice to start. Then we stop bringing pressure and he completes a 16 yd pass. He had time and he ran around a bit. An additional rusher we probably get him a 3rd time.

Kenny Clark. Where are you, man?

Studs
Cox had some splash plays
Watson, what a clutch catch!
Jacobs - what a dependable, tough, and talented guy.

Studs - Jacobs, Watson, and the Offensive Line

Jacobs is the absolute workhorse for this team.

Duds - MLF and Hafley.
MLF continues to overthink. Not taking the points is unforgivable.

Hafley refuses to get aggressive in big 3rd or 4th down situations which is something we've seen from every Packer's DC for the last 20 years. Ask the Chiefs or 49ers what they're doing in a game ending 3rd and long. Both are bringing the house. If they lose they lose on their terms. Make Caleb Williams make a split second decision to get 20 yards instead of playing the same old soft prevent coverage we've seen forever allowing him to stand in the pocket.

***Not a dud, but another ill advised "lucky" throw by Love to a double covered Watson when he had an open Kraft. The Packers were putting together a nice methodical drive when Love decided to make that throw. Could have killed another scoring drive. He's had a few of these head scratching "hero" throws this season when they are not needed.

While I actually agree with most of what you said. In 3rd n 1 we knew we were being Dan Campbell aggressive after our 4th down try at midfield.

It’s fine to take a shot on 2nd n 1. But on 3rd and 1 you have TWO tries to get 1 yard. The Play? the infamous end around that has killed us all year in scoring position. At one point Reed was -8 in the backfield.

you can’t go negative there. Maybe -1 foot but you have to go EVEN or 1+. If you Run and get a first down. It’s 1st n Goal from inside the 5 yard line. Layerbthe aggressiveness now. If it’s 4th and Goal from the 1? You’re going for it. That = you would have THREE tries to get 3+ yards.

Dud: Adam Stenavich for calling a play he 100% agreed was not working all season. Result: reverse Momentum resulting in a -14 point swing.

Instead. You go with the EXACT thing Adam said in Interview just hours ago didn’t work. Negative or risky plays in scoring position. Then why did you risk an end around??

2nd and 1 was inside the 10, they chose to pass, ended up with an extended play and got called for a 5 yd penalty on OL downfield. Then they tried the hand off to Reed for another 5 yd loss. On 3rd down Love threw the INT.

MLF- his in-game decision making continues to hurt the team.
Secondary- Worst game of the year. Nobody was making plays. Even McKinney had a forgettable game.
Cooper. - Tim and again he took the wrong angle in pursuing Williams.
Clark- got to put out a missing persons bulletin on him.

That one really was such a head scratcher. The field is already so compressed once you get down to the red zone and there’s just no room for that sort of play to develop IMO. Just feels like he is constantly overthinking these things. Ironically at times it feels like LaFleur suffers from the same "smartest guy in the room syndrome" that many have complained about with Rodgers. Like he has this tendency to get a little too cute, a little too clever, as though he's got to prove something to everyone else (what that is exactly, I don't know)
