Kansas City* was the easiest defense they will face all season. That's what they are saying about us

Does that mean there's going to be a "Rehire Capers" thread? Lol.Defence looked better under Capers imo at least they were better against the run.
I watched most of the national media sports shows today and the consensus was basically "Wow Rodgers is great for engineering that comeback, but the Packers aren't very good if they need that to beat the 49ers with a third string QB and some backup RBs." Not sure why everybody is always hating on the national sports commentators when most of the forum here is saying the exact same thing..Capers is gone, the secondary has pretty much been purged a few times in the last 5 years with high draft picks, what is still the common thread over that time? Doesn't take much "wit" to figure it out.
Yeah, we're only six game s into the new regime. Everything isn't going to be fixed overnight. Too bad they let things slide go so far before they decided they needed to do something.Anybody that thinks a new GM, DC, OC is going to come into a team with aging players in expensive contracts coming off basically 10+ years of late round drafting and have them undefeated already is kidding themselves.

Not sure who it was, but someone said that the Packers replaced the GM, the DC, the OC, and other coaches, so thhere's only one person left to blame.
Sadly, Joe Whitt and the Packer secondary has been in the habit of making QB's like Beathard look great for years.
The Brice experiment should be over. He sucks.
Perhaps, once Breeland and Alexander are healthy, Tramon Williams might be moved to safety? If for no other reason than to have some veteran leadership at the second level of the secondary.
The play-calling, meanwhile, still leaves a lot to be desired. And speaking of running, don't give up on Jones so damn early. His very first carry of the game (shocked that got called short) was explosive. Granted, he made a few key errors (drop, missed block), but good things still happen when he carries the ball. Honestly, I think he is the key to this entire offense. Rodgers's stats off play-action were nuts, and I think that had a lot to do with the mere threat of AJones. There were so many instances where we started a drive and I just thought, "OK, McCarthy, run with Jones on 1st and 10 here and go from there." We need to run him, be patient, keep it simple, and everything will else will come.
Yeah, I get that. But if you're facing a WR with that type of speed, I would think about keeping the corner on him and not sending him.
Duds-MM- He never has any time outs lol, what the hell was that double reverse about??
brice and haha- Why these dudes missing so many tackles?
DLine- Gawd I feel bad for daniels, this dude is constantly double and no-one is stepping up, they looked so bad in this game.
