Aaron. Bleeping. Rodgers. An absolute legend.

There aren’t enough words to describe what I just witnessed.

Oh my goodness guys... the Bears got to tee off with no Rodgers, got two turnovers off of Kizer, got a TD off one turnover, and couldn’t beat the Packers. That is pathetic. Rodgers is a beast. Pettine has made a big difference.

Studs: Aaron Amazing Rodgers. Made some unbelievable throws.
Allison. I take back everything I was thinking about him. Fantastic.
Cobb. I'm almost speechless on that play and TD. Catch and run for 75 yards for a TD...couldn't stop jumping up and down.

Duds: Both sides of the ball in the 1st half.
Clay. Get your head out of your @$$ Matthews. Totally could have missed Tribisky.

The OL protected Aaron when it mattered most.
The Defense came to life in the 2nd half. But the DL really needs some work. Nice to see some new defensive looks.

Great game. Reminded me that it's never over until it's over.

I'll probably have more to say tomorrow.

Nice work by the defense. They made key stops and played aggressively at the end.

Rodgers is the difference between a victory and a blowout. Greatest player of all time

Kalil Mack. If I'm a Chicago fan, he earned a good chunk of his bonus $$ in the first half. I want a refund for the 2nd.
The man, the legend, AR12
Top 3 WRs. All three learned how to get open and all 3 scored TDs
The DBs came through when it mattered. Also didn't look too bad. B3@rz receivers got some great receptions against tight coverage. Did they get any in the 2nd half?

Duds
MM play calling first half. Shit man, the quick rhythm offense was called for after the first drive, not first half.
CMiii, what, leave your brains in the locker room? Maybe that was why your ass was on the bench for the final 4 plays.
OL was better in years past. Maybe you should play more than a few snaps in preseason.

ETA Kizer was a dud. C'mon man you've got a full season under your belt. Weren't you in the same draft as the other guy?

Studs: Besides the obvious and already said, I would also say the secondary. Big turn around from last year.

Duds: First half, playing too much like they had this win from the opening kickoff. Attack on offense, start with the no huddle and keep playing fast. Tired of this letting the defense get fresh guys. I will be fine with seeing no huddle from here on out, unless we have a big lead.

Rodgers - if that isn't one of the guttiest performances of all time I don't know what is

Cobb - once he started running in space he did a nice job of adjusting

Adams - better late than never, came on and made big plays

King - this kid is starting to show some promise on the outside, he was ready

Allison - made big plays and was very good in space

2nd half front 7 - they got some huge stops when they needed them and brought the rain just in time

Duds
Matthews - out of position, losing contain, and being thrown around on the rush. Where is his head at the end of the game on THE pivotal play...

James Kampen - this oline was not prepped, and not giving help on 52 is insanity...

Kizer - he needs to have more poise and not risk anything in the red zone

All in all, that was the craziest game I have ever seen....I hope AR can withstand the rigors of 16 games with a questionable knee. At some pt Clinton-Dix needs to be coached up and taught where to be on every defensive play call...the running game play calls were better in the 2nd half. This team needs to play 4 quarters. The punt coverage team needs improved as this punter booms hang time long enough for gunners to be all over the returner on almost every punt. Amazing win, now improvement is needed and being consistent will be the order of the day.

I don't think that they actually traded for Kizer, that was just a ploy to get rid of D. Randall....I am pretty sure that was still Brett Hundley out there tonight! :coffee:

I'll also throw in for studs Ha Ha and Montgomery. Ha Ha didn't seem to get torched in coverage, miss tackles like in 2017, and had a huge stop on 3rd and 1. Montgomery had that real big play that unfortunately got called back on the McCray hold. Also busted his *** on the Cobb TD with the blocks.

Dud- this may be hard but I'll throw in McCray. He did fine in the 2nd half but was awful in the first. I'm not putting Bulaga in there. He's just coming off injury and on the Kizer fumble he literally ran right into Mack. Nothing Bulaga could do. Kizer was also a dud but not a shock.

hope playing on that injured knee for a win didn't cost him games or the season.

Stud - Montgomery, at least compared to the expectations of some. Came through as a multipurpose tool for the most part, and beautiful (or at least effective) down downfield blocking on the Cobb TD.

Dud - I'd complain that Clinton-Dix continues to pull his punches too often, but his tackle on Howard in the 4th quarter was gorgeous...so jury's out

I agree pretty much on all those. I've hated Mathews for the past few years. Oddly enough he went south since the NFL started testing for hgh..

The secondary bailed out the front guys many times, unlike last year where our front gave their qb all day and secondary would get torched.

I really like how hard Brice tackles. I think he will be solid
