Stud: Big Ben -- did his best Cutler imitation. Keke, Gary, Cobb, Stokes, Dillon, and the officials. Many missed calls but it was both ways and they let them play.
Dud: who ever didn't call time out in the 1st half field goal that was blocked. Too many rushers for the number of defenders.

Studs - Cobb, Dillon and the offensive line.

Duds - Shoutbox thread. You'd have thought we were down 27-10 by reading the posts.

Duds-
EQ- can we move on? The only play he was in on today he winced to the sideline. Soft as butter.
Whoever blocks on the right during FGs

Duds - for sure the shout thread crowd - dear lord for a game without MVS and King playing you’d have swore we were losing by 100. Also gotta give Jones a dud, was not a fan of his reading of holes, but to be fair he cannot make holes work that a power guy can.

Studs - Bojo is special, Cobb and Dillon on offense for me. Defense I’d say Campbell and Clark honorable mentions to Keke and Stokes.

Studs: Randall Cobb - several great plays and he is starting to heat up when needed

Devante Adams - continues to lead and delivers when called upon

Nijman - Did a pretty good job in pass pro and filling in well

AJ Dillon - the change of pace was pretty effective and shortened the game

Duds: St Brown - appears to be confused after all this time on what role he is there to fill and hasnt really caught on

Tripping - a week after being penalized, blind eye on an obvious one that shouldve been called

Deguara - needs to sustain blocks and whiffed a few times

This game was a bit sloppy but did enough to get a W against a washed up once great Big Ben. The injuries are now piling up and could prove critical. Rodgers was in command and it magically evaporated. Not that impressive of a showing. Hard to tell if the Defense can plug n play and be effective. Jaire has been mediocre the last few weeks and is now injured. Stokes is hot and cold. The tackling was subpar at times and inconsistent. Win ugly and move on.

This is how the Steelers make you play even if you beat them. There are no pretty clean executed games when you play the AFC North. Be prepared for a street fight. An ugly win is better than a pretty loss.

As stated prior to the game, the Steelers don't have a viable offense with Roethlisberger.

They got 6 on a free play and scored another TD in garbage time. Outside of that? 3 points.

The problem is that they're so inept that you can't even really take anything from it.

It's a win. Good enough for me.

Studs: Cobb, Keke, Dillon, Crosby, Big Ben

Duds: None in particular.

Stokes, Jaire, Adams , Jones all had flashes of ups and downs.

Their game plan sucks. New OC isn't up to scratch. Big Ben can't throw and they rarely ran slants or toss to RBs till final quarter.

There’s no game plan for a QB who can’t move, has a pop gun arm, doesn’t like to move the pocket, hates play action, and resists incorporating RPO’s.

I’m just pleased that we are winning games without several key players on both sides of the ball.

-I was glad they went to the veteran there in Cobb, he’s obviously proved very capable
-Best signing of the offseason was Campbell. Get him extended before his value goes up too much.
-Keke flashing once again, but he needs to make a leap and carry that intensity over against true contenders.
-Rashan looked consistently good, but not spectacular.
-Stokes got caught on another ticky-tack ref call. But he had several break ups and redeemed himself on a beautiful INT after not biting on a double move down the perimeter. Really soft hands.

-The D looked good overall, but this was an inconsistent Steelers Offense credited with hurting themselves almost as much as we played good. Yes we won, but this was a home game and we should’ve put this one away before the 4th quarter opened and we let them make it a 1 score game in the 4th quarter. We looked sloppy and disjointed with splash plays in between.

It was a really strange game for Rodgers. He made some splash plays, but he misfired on quite a few throws that you would expect him to connect on. Don't get me wrong, he made the plays necessary, but man he left a lot out there too.

The encouraging thing is that you know he will get it on track. And it's also a good feeling knowing that we won a game where clearly we didn't have our best stuff at all.

Like I mentioned in the game thread, Ben Roethlisberger is cooked. Done. If the Packers would've lost this game, it would've been bad, bad news.

Dud: The NFL- couldn't watch the game until the 2nd quarter due to the freaking Jets/Titans full overtime. Also can't watch it on Sunday Ticket because Sunday Ticket games don't work if it's on local channel. Been like this for many years. What a freaking joke.

AJ Dillon and Cobb have to be added to this list
Yeah. I liked what Dillon offers. We have a decent run blocking unit considering the relative inexperience at OL. Dillon is a hammer going through the line. He was instrumental in several rushing and passing 1st downs. His yards production (97 yards) was 26.4% of the total Offense on 22.2% of the O plays (72).
Very solid outing for AJ
