DUDS: Blake Martinez getting stats on tackles all year because he gives up the middle the entire game but tackles after giving up 8 yards on first down.
Refs with that no call pi to lose
Refs for no calls on 2 blatant helmet to helmets
Refs for bogus no call pi on mvs in the 3rd
Online run blocking
Online pass protection
Barnett...should have been ejected for that hit
Biggest dud....joe buck and Troy aikman.

STUDS: Rodgers for making it a game with no name receivers circa 2015 and on. Time to bring in help..hello Dez
Graham...finally something to talk about
Adams..killed it all night until injury

How freaking aggravating

@irshmafia, apologies, I hit disagree scrolling through the list and I didn’t mean to. Lol but apparently you gave a disagree to me as well..nice!

Yes, those helmet to helmet no calls and that DPI to MVS was a joke.
The run blocking sucked but with no Bulaga and Bak not 100% I'm not going to rag on the pass blocking too much.
IMO the reason we lost is because we couldn't run and couldn't stop the run. This has to be fixed damn quick or it will be really ugly in Dallas.

Studs: Rodgers of course

Davante Adams

Aaron Jones

Duds: Bryan Bulaga - once again proving he's nothing but an injury liability to the offense and will never stay healthy. SHIP HIM OUT!!

Jimmy Graham: awful attempt to catch that ball by not using 2 hands

Rashan Gary - doing nothing out there

Brian Gute for wasting draft capital on this raddy defense

You really want Light in there at LT instead??

Wheeeew. What a game.

Duds:
The defense, particularly the run defense.
Running game. Again just awful. I can’t even keep track of the number of 0 or negative yard runs we have per game that set back the offense.
Adams injury. If he’s out oh boy we’re doomed for a bit.
Blake Martinez. For everyone who loves to anoint Blake as some elite ILB please rewatch this game. Please don’t pay him big bucks gutey!

DUDS:
  • Gute for deciding that Blake Martinez and Davante Adams were the only 2 starting quality players that the Packers needed at their positions.
  • Defense for letting the Eagles RB's and TE's run wild.
  • Play calling lacked any imagination.
  • Redzone offense.

Studs:
  • Adams, King, Rodgers,

With our inability to run the ball I didn't have a problem with the play calling. The execution of said plays is another matter.

Good match overall with 2 pretty evenly matched teams.

Stud:
Rodgers looked pretty crisp overall
MVS looked decent
AJ in the passing game looked good.
King played really well
The Offense improved some again IMO.

Duds:
Our O run blocking was dismal, Eagles were in our backfield all night.
Our Run D is horrific. This 1 Lone LB setup isn’t working.

Our ST took a step back tonight. They Started their O in our red zone.

Marcades got more involved but wiffed on a block leading to a turnover. Which is why he’s here to begin with.

Graham missing on 2 TD opportunities

Setting up the Eagles Offense inside the 20 TWICE leading to 14 points. The ST and Rodgers fumble cost is this one.

Let's hope Gute gets on the phone and tries to get a veteran WR in here even if Adams can play next week. The lack of depth at this position is concerning big time.

I would agree on execution, but the play calling in the Redzone on those last 2 drives was terrible. Looked like sandlot football, no imagination.

He needs to get on the phone and bring one in, even if Adams CAN play. While he is at it, does anyone have an ILB? Not sure what Pettine's plan was to try and cover the space occupied by the ILB's, but it sucked. Wasn't until he started playing Goodson, who isn't very good, did the defense actually start showing any ability to cover that area. If Burks is going to be out much longer, the bleed will continue.

I'm very confused why people are trying to bash that last pass? Was exactly what the play design called for, was just a good defensive play honestly. Didnt like the play call at all, but the ball was where it needed to be. MVS should have fought more inside honestly, exactly like how SEA WR should have in the Super Bowl

of course the outcome is what people are complaining about. it's all hindsight. it didn't work and discount double check is to blame for his decision to pass to that receiver. it's a "what if" conundrum.

Martinez was chronically out of position. I'm not talking about him getting picked off on that one play. The Rams were attacking his middle coverage all day.

All I’m gonna say is this: if any of you were told before the season started that we would be 3-1 thru the first 4 games, every single one of you would have taken it without a second’s worth of hesitation. So tread lightly, PackerForum.
But looking at it now we have the Cowgirls next and our run defense sucks I went from being confident we would beat them to having a ulcer thinking about how many yards rushing Zeke is going to put up on us!

I wish we had been playing the Rams, we might have won! ;)

But yeah, I still think Blake is a decent player, but it seemed like Pettine had him out there on an island all alone much of the game, he cannot cover that much ground. So unless your DL is doing their job, which they weren't, way to much real estate to cover for one guy.

Who was wide open on that last play? I hardly ever blame a QB if a ball bounces off a receiver like that. If Rodgers isn't playing like his old self for most of this game we get blown out.

Duds: NFL Officiating

Not an excuse, but wtf????

On the long KR alone Lazard, Vitale & Summers were all held.

Barnett deserved to be ejected.

Numerous other game changing plays miscalled.

PI not called to end our chances. MVS arms wrapped before ball got there. No challenges inside 2 min.

NFL???

I’ll take a starting OT like Trent Williams any day over WR at this point. Both would be good if Adams is out long.

That run defense had me thinking a phrase that was very associated with our defenses of recent years: "We're getting gashed". Someone on the Shoutbox also mentioned the word "sieve".

ESPN's stats aren't always correct, but on Sportscenter they said that Rodgers had more incompletions from the one yard line in one quarter than any other quarterback in the last 40 years.

I'm sure the game plan was to rely on the passing game more, since Philadelphia has a stingy run defense (unlike us, apparently). Still, four downs to get into the end zone and no runs? Looked like McCarthy out there.

Someone has probably already said this, but when Aaron Rodgers is your #1 rusher on 5 carries (46 yds), has more yards than everyone else combined (31), something isn't right.

Anybody mention the pass blocking? I thought they did a real good job. Rodgers threw a ton too. He fumbled the one play but I don't recall another sack.

However in the same breath the run blocking was bad.

Duds:

Run game obviously.

Our inability to step up in the secondary and make tackles that actually count. Far too many missed tackles, or ‘safe’ tackles where by in the process of lining up the opposition we actually sit deep and give up 5–10 easy yards.

Did Rogers look crisp? At times maybe, but he is part of an offence that’s has fluffed it’s lines a lot this season. We weren’t ruthless in the red zone and that ultimately cost us.

Studs

The passing game in the first two thirds of the field was on the money. Good to see Graham and Allison getting involved. Adams doing his thing.

Oh how the wheel turns.
