Studs: Aaron Jones, Rodgers, Jaire Alexander, Josh Jackson, Scott, Buffalo Bills

Duds: Brice and Davon house need to go. Davon house may be the worst CB in the league. Then the obvious roughing the passer calls are getting out of control.

Overall, we were outplayed by the skins. Not worried though as we still sit on top in the division.

We shoulda went with shields instead of keeping house here. :coffee:

Studs - Scott - this kid is unbelievable at hanging them up to dry and the coverage team has all the time in the world to get downfield
Allison - again improving and showing big play ability
Rodgers - playing hobbled and grinding it out trying to bring a team back in a hole.
Aaron Jones - kid did a great job in spot duty and no one knows why he sat in the 4th quarter
Graham - got open and made a few nice plays starting to become a weapon in this offense

Duds - Brice - needs work on his ball skills and positioning and coverage
HHCD - totally lost playing where no one is and the pick was the result of a rcvr giving up on his route, has been clueless on pass d for years now.
Cobb - what a difference one week makes. dropped critical passes in critical situations
House - this veteran is not paying dividends for our nickel and dime packages. lackadaisical on coverage and his play is regressing
Nick Perry - too oft injured or invisible...we needed him to perform today
Mike McCarthy/Philbin - this lack of preparation on both sides of the ball has got to stop and if he does have a hand in offensive play calling he should look in the mirror about why AR has one ring. Stale offense and then Monty in there in the 4th quarter there is no excuse.
Pettine - this defense in the first half was a joke, what planet does he live on with some of these d play calls? He did adjust in the 2nd half, how about adjusting immediately to what the defense is being gashed on...

The new NFL rules and officials - I understand they want to implement these rules, but it is costing and causing games to be determined by the referees now in two straight games in terms of the Green Bay Packers. This loss was determined by poor play. However the precedent that is being set here is exactly why the NBA is a joke - consistently inconsistent in regards to momentum and integrity. This league is turning into that. If these "rules" are not in the best interest of fair play then scrap them to a certain degree. A defender has just as much a right to safety as does a qb wr or rb or whomever. The direction this is heading will cause fans to stay away and understand the referees will determine the winner of all contests. Look at the NFL commissioner that allowed this - it is worth examining the integrity of this league. Player safety should work for ALL PLAYERS, then a fair playing field is established. To me this is not the case - it is an offensive don't touch me league that is coming to fruition. Maybe put these rules into High School Football and College Football now and wait until it is appropriate in the NFL in the next couple of years. The game I am used to is eroding to a major degree. I understand why they want to protect players but I just want it to be fair. Today it seemed to me that one team was dirty and the other was not - and that is not what I saw - total inconsistency.

I have zero studs, not Rodgers, not Jones, not anyone. Rodgers could have had a couple picks today too. he wasn't great.

Cobb went from darling to dud in a hurry. He's supposed to be a leader and he's responsible for 3 turnovers himself. A drop on 3rd that resulted in a punt. A drop on 4th down and the fumble. To say he had a bad day would be an understatement.

I don't care if Jones just came back from suspension, fine this was a game to "ease" him in, but Montgomery should NEVER be on the field if Jones and Williams are healthy. Zero reason to take snaps away from them to put him out there. They are both better and deserve to be there.

Tonyan should be on the field, Kendricks can now take a seat and play his special teams I guess, or none at all. He's a vet, and we're supposed to depend on them? forget it. Proof positive that putting experienced vets in valuable positions means jack ****. Same for House. He didn't look like he even had remote interest in playing defensive back in the NFL on that pass interference. Everything about it just said, "**** it".

Our safeties are who they are. 2 weeks in a row Brice turns a pass defense possible INT into a TD for the other team. Good news is he's there to make a play, bad news is, it's for the other team. I don't care if HaHa had an INT, he was in the middle of the field and stayed there this time and they still completed basically the same exact TD play that they did to him and King last week. and he's still a lousy tackler.

and the officials. We played like crap, i'm not even going to pretend we deserved to win, but i felt sick watching this game. For the first time in pretty much the 40 years I can remember of watching football, I wanted to walk away. I loved this game since I can remember. I have never turned a game off or walked away or left early, ever. I've sat thru and watched some real stinkers to say the least and today I had such a battle between walking away or supporting my team and it had nothing to do with how crappy they played. I don't know if it was just the Matthews call again, or what, but it seemed like everything after was garbage. Allison gets called for holding, which he did have a hold at the shoulder pads, but check out his face and what the defender was doing to him. WTF, spnning his head off by his facemask and nothing? 3 guys get held in a pass pattern and GB gets called for holding? I really struggled to stay with this game. I hate the NFL for taking this game away from me. These are win taking, game changing huge plays, and they have nothing to do with players.

I've said this before and i'll say it again, with the specter of gambling overhanging it all now, the integrity of the game is being eroded. Officials have too much power to influence and once the trust is gone, the league is done. they are on one fine line right now.

The gambling thing could have huge consequences, hell there is holding on every play it's just when they decide to call it. Must confess I gave up and went to play a quick round of golf. Got home in time to see most of the 4th qtr. SB contender we're not.

We should trade for JJ Watt. Texans can’t win with him and he would look good in. GB uniform.

On the bright side, at least we didn’t lose by three scores to the Bills at home.

LOL.

Just another week of not looking like a SB contending team & MM better figure something out quick because it's looking pretty much the same as it has since 2014.
This never looked like a Super Bowl caliber roster. Too much inexperience in key positions, a few too many merely serviceable players. Winning the division was and still is in the cards, however.

Good drafts need to be stacked and this is not that.

It was a BS call and those mofos are starting to **** me off.
Are they trying to get Clay demoted down to water boy?
No, I'm not shocked. The -3 point spread looked about right. Expecting a Packer runaway as some predicted was no more than wishful thinking.

There are very few run away games. Most come down to 3-4 plays. All this talk of how one team should beat another, based on past performance, is a lot of wasted breath. Bills 27- Vikings 6 and it wasn't even that close. Vikings were favored by 16.5 points. It's all baloney. Most games are gut wrenching and close. That is how the NFL likes them. Excitement raises ratings and counteracts other factors that cause the ratings to fall.

Perry apparently was injured. That’s strange, I don’t even remember him being on the field. What a ghost he’s been.
It's pretty apparent Perry is just in it for the money. He played well in the last year of his contract, got paid and went back to sucking. When can we cut him without a big cap hit?

What a **** show. Reminded me of how they looked when they went 4-6 in 2016. Embarrassing performance.

Well, maybe the Packers run the table for the rest of the regular season like they did two years ago.

We should trade for JJ Watt. Texans can’t win with him and he would look good in. GB uniform.

First of all I highl doubt the Texans being interested in trading Watt. In addition the cost would most likely be too steep to acquire him.

On the bright side, at least we didn’t lose by three scores to the Bills at home.

LOL.

There's always next week ;)

The Packers would save $3.6 million of cap space by releasing Perry next offseason. The move would result in $11.1 million of dead money counting against the cap though.

I really dont like that Arod almost always gets a stud in these threads. Be real, he played bad, at least not stud worthy enough. Sure, he did it on one leg and sure some receivers dropped some balls, but on numerous throws he was also just off.

after this year. Like it or not, we're just stuck with him for now. I'm not even sure which way to go. We have nobody there right now. I saw why Gilbert wasn't getting more snaps, at least 2 of those huge AP runs were on him. and Fackrell is what we all know he is, terrible. But on the flip side, it appears you can't hit a QB anyway.

Not any more. Still not worried?
No, its week 3. And Mitch Trubisky’s decision making is about as subpar as it gets. That defense though is for real!
I honestly cannot get worried until we are out of contention in late December. Because with Aaron Rodgers, even us being out of contention in November, is meaningless. I just hope he starts feeling better. I hate the fact he is not practicing, therefore losing valuable reps with his recievers, which is why they cannot hang on to the ball and he is throwing balls that would have been picked off if we were playing a better defense. No panic mode here.

Duds...MM, Lane Taylor (I believe he was on the L side and was awful), Bulaga, Spriggs, House, Brice, all of the deserved pass interference calls, Kendricks, Cobb, The long snapper did not have one clean snap to the punter, (there has got to be someone out there who can do that...come on!), not good protection.

Studs...Geronimo, Jones, Scott, maybe Clay (glad to see him moving around and a terrible call), didn't hear from Baktiari so maybe him, at times decent pressure. Not sure about this one but Morrison seemed to be around the ball a lot.

The one thing it showed is that for this game he has the smarts and the players can execute his plays when he adjusted

What adjustments? The Skins put up 28 points, 323 yards and had a 3 score lead. They scored 3 in the second half because they took their foot off the gas and played safe in the second half.

It really seems like Washington adjusting their game plan in the second half helped out the Packers defense. Smith only threw it five times in the third and fourth quarter.

Clay - lost in the stupidity of rules is the fact that clay has been playing better the last 2 games. Although stats dont show it, he did have 2 sacks in last 2 weeks. Dont know if he should be a stud here, but making the AM stud list will make him feel better today, I'm sure.

MM's dander- never seen him so mad.

Allison - if we didnt know he was slow we would think he was fast

Duds
Refs
NFL - made a rule to protect QBs and keep premier players healthy to keep viewership up - but instead have made the games unwatchable. Idiots. Fix this fast.

Pettine - why did the defense suck so bad in the first half and play so great in the 2nd?

Campen - fooled me the last 2 yrs that you were getting it. Back to the old crap again.

Kendricks n cobb sheeesh guys. Spend 40 hrs of ur own time on the ***** machine this week.

House, in over your head in coverage

MM and everyone else.
