Not for that price, or not worth it are probably a reaction most people should be having today. Nobody thinks this team is going to be fixed with a few coaching changes. most of us also realize it's not going to be fixed by signing an overpriced FA either. Flashy and **** things are usually available for a reason, and they're rarely worth it.

Are we going to make any moves ? Does anyone think this team we be improved enough with just a few coaching changes ? Big names are flying off the market and everyone just says “not for that price” “not worth it” .. 6-6 everyone will be screaming why didn’t we bring in some players.
enough for what?

Look at our sloppy defense... THE WORST in the league lol like bottom 3 talent wise lol
When you factor in
A. The injuries that happened over the year
B. The fact that we haven't blown out by any opponents we've faced this year

We're not all that bad. What we need is a bonafide pass rusher, get that and that'll force the QB to throw it quicker for the secondary to take advantage. We're not that bad defensively. Which was why I was all for getting Mack and still insist we trade for Miller.

Our front office wasted Rodgers career to supply enough talent to make it through the playoffs period... they low ball players and no one wants to sign with us either

Oh you won't get any arguments from me in that regard, which is why I find it hilarious people are so appalled at the idea of signing a big FA like Brown, or Mack. The way it sounds in regards to how safe people are going about it makes me believe we should've kept Thompson. Our Superbowl Window is closing and getting smaller and smaller. The time for playing it safe is about over. Time to take some chances.

Right.. they need to take some chances on players they need someone they are afraid to shell out money to good players.. like come on I just saw mathieu is on the Chiefs now... they need multiple safeties and linebackers... they need to pony up and pay early thomas he wants a 2 yr contract 14 mil a yr deal.. sack up and pay him I don’t care about his past injuries they need good players.. watch them pay like 80 mil to zadarious smith who won’t do shitttttttttt lol

Landon Collins 6yr/84M ($14M/yr)... we weren't going to pay him that with Thomas, Honey Badger, and LaMarcus Joyner still out there with some other safeties as well.

C'mon guys. Hang in there. The Packers could still get Jimmy Graham for 3 years / $30 million. Oh, wait....

I'll say this much. The prices of name players continues to escalate a lot faster than the cap. Cheap rookie contracts keep getting cheaper.

Joyner: Hell no.

Signing Jimmy Graham in 2018 and Martellus in 2017 the first few hours of free agency worked out so great. I'm glad that the notion that Green Bay doesn't spend money on free agents ended with those moves, even if they didn't perform anywhere near to their salaries. We got rid of that perception that we don't spend money! Who gives a **** about wins and losses next year, let's just overspend in the first few hours.

C'mon guys!

Again I like Earl Thomas and I think having him would help the secondary tremendously, but I feel getting a pass rusher is where we need to focus our attention on. If you have a good defensive front, then everything else typically falls into place.

Yeah but the fact is we spent money on either players that are on the decline and at best a solid B player. Tell me when was the last bonafide FA that we got that was arguably one of the best at their position?

It's like every time we pick up a FA we're supposed to be excited because this person USED to be pretty good, and we're hoping that they play at the same level back during their peak. Either that or we pick up a player that's good, but not elite, certainly not to help get us over the hump, which often results in us sitting here being disappointed. And then when we see FA's we easily could've had, ball out we're here reflecting damn, we could've had him had the front office not been so cheap. And then we're doing the same #### all over again next year. -_-

Just curious, which of the guys signed today is considered arguably best at their position? Even the guys that haven't been signed yet, this isn't one of those great free agent classes. Reggie White, Terrell Owens (Eagles year), Drew Brees, or Peyton Manning caliber players are not available.

My point was in regards to the Free agents we typically sign. If you're referring to FA's signed today then you'd have me, but overall AB is arguably the best WR in the league, but people here were worried about his "character" and whatnot in spite the fact that if we're as strong as an organization we should be able to handle it. Earl Thomas I'd say is one of the best Safeties at his position is another I can think of, but again even if we get him we'd be better, but we need to focus more on pass rushers. Which is why I was pissed we missed out on Mack. And I STILL suggest we trade for Miller.

The moment we heard Chicago was interested in him was the moment we should've done everything in our power to prevent them from getting him.

But going back to the original point, no one we've signed in the past few years has helped this team progress forward, the only two I'd make an exception for would be Peppers, and Cook, as while they were very good complimentary pieces, but they didn't get us over the hump. And then we decide to resign players in house, and let go of players that end up playing well elsewhere (Casey Hayward). It's a daunting cycle I'm used to seeing, and every time I get my hopes up I'm disappointed.

We've had a historic QB and we've only been to 1 SB with him because the FA was so reliant on him, that they were squandered most of his career, and we may face the possibility of him only going to 1 SB. This team has pretty much been nothing but Rodgers, and the funny part is now when Rodgers is getting paid for what he is worth, both to our team, and the market, some of us wants to ###### and complain about that.

The reality is that GB, as great as an organization it is, is NOT a key destination that attracts Free Agents.
