It went way past a jinx. People were legitimately jumping up and down like monkeys, declaring him a mentally beaten kicker that was no good to begin with and now not even worth bringing back to camp in 2013. Thank goodness a good GM takes the longview on things as opposed to the typical shortsighted vision of fans.

That's a good kicker that kicked his way out of a slump. What about the longview approach of our defense? Where are we at on that?
