Opinions are like A-holes, we all have one.
Will the defense hold teams to three points every game? No, but there's absolutely no question that the defense has improved. Exactly how much, we'll find out. But this is far and away a better unit than 2018.
And based on some of their postgame comments, they're sort of playing with a chip on their shoulder.
I 100% want to be able to agree with everyone that has their chests puffed out and declaring that the Packer Defense is vastly improved. Last night, they definitely looked that way, no doubt that defense played one of its better games in years. However, I have to reign that excitement in just a tad, due to the fact that its just one game, the first game of the season, against a Bears offense that didn't exactly look like world beaters.
I don't expect Pettine and the Packers to sit back and rest on their laurels of one game either. Last night was a great start for the Defense, but lets keep it going for 15+ more games and get even better, because we are going to be facing much better offenses than the one we saw last night.
The Good news, I expect our Offense to improve and look much better than they did last night, against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
