Aiden's Hutchinson was a game wrecker in Green Bay, but Zach Tom contained him all day. Just like he did against TJ Watt. Since getting past that early season knee injury, he's been playing at a Pro Bowl level.

I'm starting to cringe every time Carlson comes out for a place kick. There's no sure thing with him.

Detroit was the #2 rated Offense in the NFL playing AT HOME.
The Packers, led by Jordan Love were severely wounded in their Defensive backfield. We had 1 DB playing that started the season. Yet our front 4 put steady pressure on Goff most of the day.
Some chump on ESPN claimed that “even the worst teams in the NFL can beat the Lions on their best day”. He named Chicago and GB as those teams.. and that’s exactly what we want. Stay under the radar and scratch and claw.

We are 1 home game away from a
6-6 record (.500). The Chiefs aren’t exactly on fire. They’ve averaged 19.5 pts per game across their last 4 opponents. Yes we’re underdogs, but if our Defensive front plays like they did today, we’ll be competitive imo

Studs: Love, Watson, Reed, Gary, Owens . I mean who wasn't a stud?

Duds: At this point I'm so shocked I can't think of one.:)
Whelan. 4 punts inside the 20. ST stopping the fake punt. Tell me we stop that in 2021 before Biasacia. Well anticipated and executed. Last time I believe we stopped one was in 2010 against old ground and pound Rex.

Studs-Gary
P. Smith
Zach Tom
Watson- would've had a monster game with better deep passes.
Love- great qb under 20 yards

Duds-dropped passes for first downs by Doubs and Reed
Love- leaves a lot of points on the field with his lousy deep passes to an open Watson

There was one ball I recall that everyone including especially Josh Myers wants back and that was the real deep crosser that would have been the dagger he under threw Watson on....but that was due to he literally had zero ability or time to even set feet let alone get into the throw. Myers guy had blown clean by him and play had zero chance. Jordan' flicking that ball as close as he did was special, truthfully had Watson been looking sooner I think he redirects and catches it for sure.

What other deep balls were bad? If able state quarter minimum and what drive, I'll keep an eye on the All22 film

All team are studs with special shout-out to Love, Watson, Gary, Owens, Dillon and the entire O-Line. And rarely for this season, MLF play calling!

No duds, even the missed xp can be swept aside this week.

Can’t say enough about how important it was that LaFleur opted to take the ball first on the coin toss. You NEVER see that anymore. But he did, and the Packers rammed it in for 7.

What that did for the team’s confidence was monumental.

Credit where it’s due: Love was exceptional.

The haters are going to dig for that one questionable play to try to negate this, but the playcalling was excellent today. The fast start. The big run by Love. Overcoming the injuries on offense and playing to the strengths of who we had.

There was one throw in particular to me that really stood out. I don't remember who it was thrown to, but it was in the second quarter I believe where Love dropped back and launched one that I would normally think was going to be overthrown, but it just dropped beautifully over the linebacker into the zone. He's starting to show some of the touch that wasn't there in the beginning and it's exciting to see!

Side note, I'm going to keep touting the D-line and the promise they show. We need to improve against the run, but the pass rush generated against a very good offensive line was incredible. Brooks is such a steal! I would love one more beefy NT or thumper at linebacker, but loving what is coming together there.
To be honest. When he threw that long pass to Watson I thought Watson would drop it like he did in that Vikings game. I was shocked when he caught it.

It looked like all the receivers worked ******* catching the ball this week.

Studs: Love, MLF play calling, Dillon, Heath (he came to play), Reed, Watson (his focus was amazing), Tom, Defense, have to give one to Barry, pass rush, Wyatt, Van Ness, inside linebackers, Gary (WoW), Anthony Johnson Jr. (WoW), I am sure there were others like Whelan (at least at punts, not so sure about holding for kicker). In general, everyone played tough.
Dud: Have to give one to the kicker. Maybe he needs some Tom Dempsey shoes.

15:00 in the first quarter. If Love hits Watson in stride, it's a TD. But Watson had to almost come to a stop to catch that ball.

But you have to admit these kicks he is missing is concerning. We can't have an unreliable kicker.

I’ll also add Karl Brooks. I noticed the very first play he comes out and sheds his guy when Goff scrambled. Then he chases him down, gets a strip fumble and recovers it. Now that drive we went for it on 4th and missed, so it may have seemed uneventful, but that guy sure shows a lot of hustle and non stop effort.

Total Stud from snap #1. Detroit was very fortunate we tripped on ourselves because it’s highly likely had Dillon run the opposite side we get a new set of downs. We got stopped on the Det14.
#94 coming in as reliever
on tag team with #93 on 1 snap has a FF/FR chasing Goff down from behind

The first play? Safety was over top on line Love had and many have thought he purposefully threw that where he did between.

I’m very curious what O’Sullivan and Benkert have to say in film review of the game - especially O’Sullivan.

Haven’t watched the All22 yet and look forward to seeing if the angles provide a good view to discern.

1. KC-Mahomes isn't Goff. Would be a special defensive effort to get 3 turnovers. IMO a loss.
2. NYG- IMO this was a loss when the schedule came out. IMO the Pack will beat the 3rd string QB.
3. T.B. I also had this game as a loss but at home the way GB is playing I think it is a win.
4. CAR- IMO this was always going to be a win.
5. Started out as a loss IMO. Now a toss up game. If Dobbs has chemistry with JJeff could be a tough one on the road. If the Pack continue to improve big chance to win IMO.
6. CHI- IMO the Pack still owns them.

I'm no Xs and Os guy, but in freeze frame, when Watson starts to slow down, his foot is on the 31, the foot of the outside Lion is on the 33, the foot of the inside Lion is on the 35. Sure looks like leading Watson is a TD with no chance for the DBs.
