Sure, to the same extent that “it’s tough to win a playoff game” is true or “it’s tough to win a game against an NFL team” is true.I'd argue this more or less confirms that maxim, lol.
If "Team A" beats "Team B" twice in a season, then "A" will almost always be heavy favorites against "B" in a prospective third matchup. And when the team who is noticeably favored is only winning ~60-65% of the time, I think it's fair to call that third one a "tough win," if nothing else. I mean...how many of those 65% of wins have been a walk in the park, and how many have been close fights? Saying "A" wins it 65% of the time doesn't necessarily contradict the idea that it's still tough to win that third matchup.
I think you are giving Doubs a bad rap. And if you want a little bigger; let Heath play some.So do I, if only because that means we win a playoff game.
Yeah, their WRs looked bigger and better than ours. I remember Doubs dropping a few. Speaking of Doubs, what is that weird cloth helmet cover he's been wearing? I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.
But Team A probably wouldn't be a heavy favorite against Team B in the playoffs, because most people believe that beating a team 3 times is very difficult.I'd argue this more or less confirms that maxim, lol.

Sadly, we were saying this last season after losing to the 49ers.Realistically, Green Bay is a year away from true playoff contention.
I've said it here before and I'll say it again. I went into the season thinking we'd be a handful for anyone but still a year away. I think now it might be more, unless this team goes all in this offseason. We need impact players at wr, CB the lines among others. We can have 75 M plus in cap room, and none of our impending free agents are must sign. Also, draft football players, not RAS scores.Pivotal divisional game with direct influence on playoff seeding, should have made an impression on this young team, which makes me question the communication from coaches.
Love is indecisive in critical moments and outside of Jacobs, there isn't a playmaker that demands the ball.
It's becoming apparent that Packers need to acquire a true WR1.
Tee Higgins would transform this offense. Is DK Metcalf available?
I think Green Bay should consider moving Jayden Reed if he's not utilized properly.
Packers' defense is rounding into playoff form despite the negative big plays.
Vikings offense is elite and to hold them under 30 is respectable.
Cooper gives Ray Lewis vibes.
Its curious to not have placed Jaire Alexander on IR in hindsight and seriously looking at a veteran free agent at CB would be a wise choice.
That Jacobs fumble was deflating in real time, and costly in hindsight.
Can't beat the great teams; moral victories don't count.
Realistically, Green Bay is a year away from true playoff contention.
We are a blocked field goal away from having an 0-5 record in our division. We’ve only beat 3 teams with a winning record this year so MLF has his work cut out if we want to be a top team and serious SB contender in the NFC.Pivotal divisional game with direct influence on playoff seeding, should have made an impression on this young team, which makes me question the communication from coaches.

We seem to be in an odd position. We're good enough to beat everybody but the very top teams, but we haven't been able to beat them at all. Normally a team will win some they aren't expected to, and occasionally get upset. We seem to be locked solidly in our place.I am baack. Ouch - appears we r mediocre. Love needs to account for his play, cmon man!!
This isn't just a typical Packer loss, we lost twice to two different divisional opponents. With the other loss to our likely first round playoff opponent.Always fun to read some of the comments after a Packer loss!
I initially agreed. I went back to the previous play and spot. Enagbare has his entire hand lateral to where the ball had been spotted. The MN Center naturally grabs the ball and brings it back about a full foot. It was Enagbare the tip of the ball was butht up to that hash mark and I think they just saw those big hands and called the wrong Jersey #.Dud: Ref that called Cooper offsides on the Vikings missed 55 yard FG at the end of the first half. They get to re-kick from 50 yards out and make it.
Cooper is second from the top....no F'ing way is he offsides.

Phantom Offside Call Changes Game, Season for Packers in Loss to Vikings
MINNEAPOLIS – One play, especially in the first half, doesn’t decide a game. But for the Green Bay Packers, who are stinging from another big-game loss to a divwww.si.com
Ok thanks. I wonder why we don’t just shut him down if it’s so bad? This has been going on near 9 weeks!MLF was asked about Alexander at the press conference today. He was noncommittal with his answer, but his tone was not optimistic. He mentioned "knee swelling". Where have we heard that before? Alexander is not coming back to save the day.
If they put him on IR, he won't play another down this year. I think they are still holding out hope of him being able to return at some point in the playoffs, which is why they haven't, and are willing to take that gamble.Ok thanks. I wonder why we don’t just shut him down if it’s so bad? This has been going on near 9 weeks!
Maybe they think he’s got a chance in the playoffs? Idk it’s aggravating though just make a decision already.

Oh ok. Yeah Too long for a PCL. If it’s a grade 3 requires surgery and it’s 6 months + he’d already be done. A grade 2 is typically from a few a weeks to a few months depending. He’ll be at 3 Months by postseason. Something doesn’t pass the sniff test.To avoid shannanigans, I assume that in order to be put on the injured list, one has to be injured in some verifiable manner. Maybe he is 'injured', but not sufficiently/verifiably enough to be put on the IR. There seems to be a side comment here and there about JA not wanting to go out there if he isn't 100% (same as last year). "I don't feel right" is a hard thing to quantify if they don't see anything. Not saying he is milking it, but gotta be something that they can't be putting him on the IR for. Happened last season too. Once is a random event. Two times is a trend...
I know they are holding out hope, but this doesn't seem like something that will magically take care of itself in 2 weeks since its going on what... 10?
Not good for his career. Start missing seasons the $$ doesn’t get better and the legs don’t get newer. He’s about to turn 28 years old and he likely stays in GB because he’s not much of a Cap Savings in 2025.Maybe he sees the writing on the wall that he is going to be cut and doesn't want a less than 100% knee to put bad tape out there on him... Guess that is another option. I've stated this before, but 2 years of this is odd..
Mediocre teams don't have 11 wins with 4 of their 5 losses being within one score and all of them being against 13 win teams. Just stop already.I am baack. Ouch - appears we r mediocre. Love needs to account for his play, cmon man!!
No reason for him to play against the Bears. We're talking about getting either the 6 or 7 seed. No reason for Love to play either for that matter. The risk of injury isn't worth the potential reward. I want to see Willis put up 45 on Chicago next week.If they put him on IR, he won't play another down this year. I think they are still holding out hope of him being able to return at some point in the playoffs, which is why they haven't, and are willing to take that gamble.
I guess it depends on how you define mediocre. Is a lower level playoff team mediocre? Right now it looks like we're the fourth best team in the NFC (at best - maybe I'm biased) out of 16 teams. Is that mediocre? I'd say we're probably top ten in the NFL, although that is arguable, I suppose. Is that mediocre? I'd say we're good, not great or mediocre.Mediocre teams don't have 11 wins with 4 of their 5 losses being within one score and all of them being against 13 win teams. Just stop already.
