I was at the Bartman game.

I felt so sorry for that guy, still do really.

Yep. It's funny.
In the World Series of 16' they asked him if he wanted to come and either throw out the ball or sing the seventh-inning stretch and he vehemently said no, and I wouldn't have either. Could you imagine if they lost it would be the curse all over again.
And that guy was just a fan going after a ball like just about any of us would've done........ Moises ALou showed with a classless POS he is/was because he made a great play for the ball......maybe he catches it, maybe he doesn't.....but when he pitched an epic tantrum and pointed at Bartman it was all over.
He ruined that man's life......AND THEN.....has the effin balls to say, years later, "I couldn't have caught it anyways"....just makes him even more of a POS.

At least in the end the Cubs did him a solid and gave him a World Series championship ring just like every other member of the team...... anybody who thinks this man didn't earn that and a bunch more couldn't be more wrong.

What’s amazing is he turned down multiple offers for substantial $$ to appear on advertisements. We’re talking several hundreds of thousands $ that were declined. I’m glad he didn’t accept those bribes, it would’ve likely resurfaced a dangerous retaliatory response.

The man was just a diehard fan who wanted to be left alone.
When the Red Sox won, they held up a banner saying we forgive you, Bill.

Cubs fans and should have held up a sign that said "we're sorry, Bartman"

Sadly, it’s mostly that 1-3% of the fans that are idiots that make threats or keep attacking with verbal retribution. etc. they always are the most boisterous and somehow get to represent the 98% that really don’t want that. Kinda like that with riots and everything else. 2% of the adult population in a large city is massive. But they are not the consensus. Those punks wouldn’t stand a chance if they were rioting and the 98% joined together and showed up in force. Heck just 20% of a city showing up would scare them off.

So we're learning today that the only reason Eberflus probably got fired is because Jalen Johnson are number one corner who's got a four year like $90 million extension literally tried to fight the coach after the game.
Apparently, he was screaming at him. He was the worst coach ever and we're losing squarely because of his bullshiite decisions and he had to be restrained by several players!!!!(Go Jaylon!!! My new fav player!!!)
Our CEO and general manager had to tell Eberflus to leave the locker room bc they saw he was about to get his az.z kicked by some 28 year-old pissed off very athletic and very powerful men.

And also apparently at this point I want my general manager fired too, but we've also learned that Poles actually tried to fire Eberflus after the New England game debacle and ownership wouldn't let him and it literally took a player trying to fight him in the locker room for the McCaskeys to be like OK maybe he's not the right coach.....JFC on the cross what is wrong with this family!!!!!!

Since 87'. The was an incident in 86' which has been discussed ad nauseam so I won't retread that shiite but yeah. As I said. I hope y'all do good this year bc it's the last one in a while id guess. I say that y'all aren't fighting for 3rd for the next 5 yrs or so.....

I don't think there is much basis in reality for thinking that the Packers are on the decline.

In the NFL things can change very rapidly. I would say that the one organization that has been the constant for most of the last decade is the Chiefs, much like the Patriots were for over 15 years during the Brady-Belichick era. But things can turn on a dime. A QB injury, a retirement, a coaching change, draft picks, and free agency can all make a difference. It takes a lot to win year in and year out.

I would say that the one organization that has been the constant for most of the last decade is the Chiefs, much like the Patriots were for over 15 years during the Brady-Belichick era. But things can turn on a dime. A QB injury, a retirement, a coaching change, draft picks, and free agency can all make a difference. It takes a lot to win year in and year out.

The Packers have been pretty constant for the last 30 years. They haven't had the level of success the Patriots or Chiefs have had (who has?), but they've been in the playoff picture most of that time.

According to this chart, the Packers are only behind the Patriots for most wins over the last 30 years. Steelers third, Chiefs fourth, Colts fifth (somewhat surprisingly, but not really if you think about it).

And as bad as we've been over the last 15 years before that under love you, we were basically a 500 team at worst with a couple playoff runs in a Super Bowl appearance so it hasn't been like we were Detroit until four years ago with absolutely no hope whatsoever
