I know we have had some heartbreak at Seattle but overall they don't match up well against us and more now then in a long time. There back end isn't as fast and with all the weapons Rodgers has at his disposal right now someone will get exposed in that Seattle back end. Especially matching Monty up on the LB's in passing game along with splitting Marty B outside for mismatches on smaller players.

It's real simple. If our OL can hold off there front and Rodgers is playing like Rodgers can play then we beat these guys. They won't be able to keep up.

Was a nice run. I've seen every one of his pre-season carries and it's gets a little skimpy after that one.
You know, he was never a short yardage back. His stock in trade was quick feet and vision to and through the line; the physicality showed up at the second and third levels taking on backers and DBs.

What I don't like in particular in that set of clips is a noticeably lighter Lacy without any loss of aggression after getting through the line.

I completely agree he is a "2nd level back" and that's why he wasn't all that effective in pre-season. He isn't a Lynch type runner who breaks tackles at LOS scrimmage. The rookie Carson was more effective this pre-season with that style of running which is what the Seahawks OL offers.

I could see in a wear down situation late in the game where Lacy could be effective but I don't see him as a "tone setter" in the Seattle run game this year.

I think he had issues in training camp, but has fixed them in actual play. I think that is the way he is built. When practicing, low gear...when playing, ratchet it up.

Agreed. He's definitely not a Beast Mode replacement. So it's a question of whether and how Seattle adjusts the offensive philosophy to accommodate the guys they have.

That's hardly unique among veteran players who are not fighting for a job. Preseason is also practice, so there's that.

Think that game was over when our defense got on the plane in GB.

Ohhh you missed out on something special that year. Even the NFCCG at Chicago was a golden moment. Raji picking one off and dancing in the endzone.

Winning the Halas Trophy in Chicago was, next to the game after Big Irv died, the best game other than championship wins I have seen.

It's a mixed blessing to be old enough to vividly remember the Lombardi years. Watching them defeat the Cowboys, including in the Ice Bowl, and then the corresponding victories overhauling those AFC teams in I & II are my headliners. The XXXI victory over the Patriots (that finally ended the marathon of futility following the Glory Years) was also magnificent and perhaps even more gratifying because of the long drought that had preceded it. Those you mentioned were also quite noteworthy. It's good to be a Packer fan anytime but even better during a championship season.

I actually wish Eddie The Best! Just not this next game or any other game he plays against the Packers. Seemed like a nice guy, good heart and wish he would have worked out in Green Bay. When that guy was at the top of his game, he was Beast Mode 2.7

Loved how Lacy handled himself, when some ******* tried to spread the rumor that Eddie was eating a hotdog on the sidelines during a preseason game.....

Sunflower seeds are acceptable. They contain salt which is necessary for maintaining water in the body for heavy work out. I dont like them any more but could have used them this summer working for 2 weeks plus on a heavy duty job. I was not ready for it. Left work early one day due to pain in the back. The idiot boss thought it was muscle fatigue...it was food or lack of ability to get lunch in my body....while him and his lacky did. I left it be and will not work for the idiot 78 Yr old again.

Well hot dogs contain a lot of salt too....amongst many other unknown and unmentionable ingredients. ;) This wasn't a reporter worried about Eddie's salt level, it was just some ****** bag trying to create drama. Sounds like Eddie is hitting his weight goals, but this Sunday I prefer he just shows nerves at being back in Green Bay and a bit of rust by fumbling a few times (on great hits by Packer players).

All we have to worry about in this part of the country is having enough alcohol in our blood stream in the winter time, to keep it from freezing. ;)

The updated forecast for Green Bay, WI. on Sunday is -4 at kick off, windchills at -30, possibly 6-10" of snow by the end of the game. Do you need my address to send your tickets to? :D
