So are you predicting a losing record?

There not winning more then 8 games. Certainly not going to any type of playoff. Playoffs are a thing of the past in Green Bay. It's not like I'm rooting against them but this team has lost 3 straight to the Lions. They haven't been able to win division games consistently at all for that matter.

Our rivals are adding offensive weapons while were making reckless gambles with our top picks and $ not maximizing our capital or even directing it in the correct areas.

I don't see the Packers as a contender right now. Rodgers will have to play at an MVP level to even have a chance. The chances of Adam's playing 16 games isnt good and the offense is not built or set up for a 16 game grind. If Rodgers game slips the least bit were a losing football team. How many "L's" that will be I'm not sure. If Adam's goes down I could see this team losing 10-12 games.

well...gute blew away the reach at 21 thing. we'd heard the colts were in on the guy but gute said in his just concluded presser that he knows "for a fact" he wouldn't get him had he stayed at 30.

He better be the next Nick Collins then. If he becomes a JAG it was a devastating move. I wouldn't bet on him being the next Nick Collins.

So there you go. Enjoy.

Whatever it is you're selling we certainly don't need any more times hearing it.

Don't you ever get bored with yourself repeating the same thing over and over and over? Or do you just like the attention?

I'm not selling anything. I am calling out a front office that has FAILED MISERABLY to support possibly the best QB to ever play the game.

Honestly they should just trade him because they have proven they don't have a clue how to maximize his talent and get the most out of it.

Those are the FACTS.

K. Good to know.

I'll remind you of this after we have a winning season.

Your opinion does not equal facts Brandon.

Your full of **** though. You said after the free agency to wait for the draft. Then after day 1 you referred to day 2.

Well nothing significant has happened to improve the offensive talent so now your grasping at straws.

This draft was a JOKE.

Nothing significant?

They solidified the interior OL that was a sieve all of last year. It's not flashy, but it's damn effective and it was needed.

The only joke here is you.

Btw, none of this has anything to do with you failing to realize that your opinions are not facts. Mine aren't either.

You know what is a fact though? You said Campbell wouldn't be available at 30. Wouldn't be available at 44. KC would take him. Seattle would take him. NE would take him. All of em chose different WR's. Who's the one full of **** now?

You guys wanna be optimistic and that's great. I've followed this team since the Lynn ****ey days. I was born and raised in Green Bay and I'm not some re-tread refugee fan. I have lived and died with this team. The past several years I have sold myself on this front offices failures just to get let down.

It's my choice and based on the whole thing I am preparing for a rough and long season this year. I hope I'm wrong but a lot of my friends and family in the area feel the same way. I'm not gonna get behind a bunch of bad decisions anymore and I feel the worse is yet to cone so I'm managing my expectations. I don't feel good about any of this.

This draft class was about the oddest one I can remember, when it came to WR. Everyone values the position pretty high, yet there really wasn't a standout and very little seemed to separate the pretty large group. Not sure what point I am trying to make, but of the 13 selected in the first 3 rounds, many of them were mocked to go round 1 in the last few months and ended up dropping quite a bit. Will be interesting to see how history plays out with this group.
  1. Marquise Brown (25)
  2. N'Keal Harry (32)
  3. Deebo Samuel (36)
  4. AJ Brown (51)
  5. Mecole Hardman (56)
  6. JJ Arcega-Whiteside (57)
  7. Parris Campbell (59)
  8. Andy Isabella (62)
  9. D.K. Metcalf (64)
  10. Diontae Johnson (66)
  11. Jalen Hurd (67)
  12. Terry McLaurin (76)
  13. Miles Boykin (93)

It really doesn't matter where Campbell went. It's more where we went and what we gave up to get there. It will probably be looked back at as one of Gute's biggest failures.

Btw, Campbell will be just fine and light it up in Indianapolis.

I got 2 words “little missile”!

Well the "Little Missle" has a tendancy to tackle Clinton Dix style and lower his head and go all shoulder. That won't work in the NFL. He is gonna break his "Little Neck" if he doesn't fix that.

Do you make flashcards to keep convincing yourself of all these "facts"?

I don't know man. If you go back the last few years and read what I've said and takes I made I'm right a hell of a lot more then I'm wrong. So I am not always right but I don't feel good at all about this one or the 1st round or the whole draft for that matter. I felt much better after Gute's last draft actually if you go back and read.

Overall we failed to do some things that we had a window to get done with the ammunition to get it done heading into the offseason. Somewhere there appears to be a disconnect other then DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE which is never gonna work with Rodgers contract. Look no further then the Seahawks after paying Wilson. They couldnt even re-sign Frank Clark but they still managed to get DK Metcalf out of it. I really dont understand how people think adding a new coach with a couple guards and back up TE to all the sudden get this offense over the top.

We spent 200 million dollars and major draft capital and I am not convinced we even got one GAME CHANGER out of it. We have to wait and see but this could be really bad and I am afraid it will be. That's my take.

Nagler and everyone can get mad and call me this and that but I really don't give a damn.

Anyone else a little annoyed with the likes of Thompson,Adderley and Gardner Johnson still available and we traded up in the 1st to take a safety??

Trust me, It's been posted. We would of picked twice tomorrow in 4th. That's two good shots at some good level prospects plus Adderley. I don't know how you don't go that route unless you think Savage is going to be some All-Pro safety which I do not.

We were riding a line with a very low margin of error and this move along with another shattered that.

Thompson rebounded his Draft Stock, but he still looked lost in games from time to time(Especially in the NC). Gute probably opted to avoid him due to similar issues with Clinton-Dix.

Adderley does not have the same tackling ability as Savage, so that may have played a part.

Gardner-Johnson doesn't have the same ball skills as Savage and isn't nearly as fast, so that may have played a part.

For Gute, Savage may have been the best player at S period. When you have a chance to get the best player at a position, or the player who you deem "Your Guy", you go out and get him. Gute won't apologize for what he did, and I don't expect nor want him to either. Ted Thompson traded up to get "His Guy" in Spriggs, and nobody complained about that; until 1-2 years later, so give Gute the same courtesy.

While it would have been cool to see the "Adderley" on the back of a Packer jersey back there, I think we got the best FS in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens helped drive that cost up in a trade because they were in on it too once they found out we were looking to get him. Gute doesn't strike me as the "just wing it" type guy who's careless with picks. I'm stating the obvious, but they obviously really liked Savage, and on a relativity scale, the cost wasn't really that much to move up almost 10 spots and get him in the 1st knowing that was probably your only chance to get him.

I didn't get to watch last night's draft. Did a team draft Adderly in the 2nd or 3rd?

There's a difference between not liking a pick, Like being cool on the Gary pick because he has physicality thru the roof, but couldn't produce many stats. people can argue points-counter points all day about that, even get a bit snippy about it and still be semi respectful and have fun.

Then you have the other type. Over emotional ranting ninnies who think the world is ending because 1 guy wasn't drafted. The only guy they could talk about for 6 months. Or a position wasn't chosen with every pick.

anyway, I can understand wanting a different player for whatever reason, but I really don't understand how someone could watch Savage and not think he has everything a player would need to be a really good player in this league. Couple that with the FA Additions up front and a technically and schematically sound pro in Amos, this just screams great fit and all a part of the plan.

If someone has a different feeling that's fine, try and articulate it. Personally I like how he can fly in and tackle and not kill his own body. Ball skills are very good for a DB and he can cover ground as a football player and not a track guy running straight. Someone disagrees? Fine, say why. But this continuous ******** by 2 posters over not getting a WR at 12 that nobody else wanted until almost the 3rd round is old. Talk about the actual picks or go home already. it's not adding to the forum, it's ruining it.

It's either scroll thru 1 sided conversations because you can't stand reading the crap anymore, or get emotional the emotional rantings of a 4 year old every other post.
