I used to be pretty good at communicating, but I guess maybe that declines with age, too. :) The Pack has five receivers on the 53, and IF Adams can't play (the basis of my projection), I would have to believe that the remaining four, including Janis, would be active for the game. Then, the folks who 'would love to see him on the football field' would get their wish. Sorry for the detour, now back to your regularly scheduled programming. :)

Adams is listed as probable for tomorrow's game so I expect him to play.

In which case, my response to
T.J. Lang returned to practice today but Davante Adams wasn't able to participate.
is even more meaningless than it's been since I posted it. Enjoy the rest of the football weekend. :)

I think that in order of importance, the walking wounded are ranked:

1. Lang. Looks like he's going to play.
2. Perry. Very doubtful.
3. Bush. Our one ST ace on an otherwise mediocre squad. Looks doubtful
4. Adams. Looks probable.
5. Bostick. For the life of me, I have no clue what kind of shape he's in.

On the Pats side, there's a whole mess of Questionable players, but the ones that stand out are:

1. Chandler Jones. Their best pass rusher who's been out for a while.
2. Brandon LaFell. Has been Brady's #1 target this year.
3. Shane Vereen. Also an important part of the Pats offensive arsenal.

I have a feeling Jones will not play this week. If LaFell and Vereen can't go that will certainly make a difference.

MM has given the Packers off practice until Thursday this week. Says we wants it to be like a mini bye week.

Boyd and Daniels are surprises that I didn't remember hearing about. I was hoping to hear more about Lattimore since I thought I heard his prognosis wasn't good

Hopefully Daniels' injury will be just a day-to-day thing. If he had to be held out for a game, this would probably be the one to miss.

On a positive note, it looks like Nick Perry is back. I hope he can get and stay healthy the rest of the season.

Good timing on the Monday game.

The health this season has been a surprising blessing

It will be interesting to see a report after the season on the effectiveness of the GPS monitoring program on the health of the squad. It may be that we were just due to have an injury free season, but I think the monitoring program will become the norm in all sports that can afford it: http://www.catapultsports.com/united-states/

House played decently last week. Daniels is the only guy among the DNPs I'd be particularly concerned about. Hopefully it's just a case of giving the guy a rest to get over the bumps and bruises that tend to have accumulated by this time of year.

McCarthy said Daniels is getting better and he didn't seem to be concerned about his availability for Monday's game.

Everyone should play tonight with the following exceptions:

Lattimore out
Luther Robinson out

Sam Shields still hasn't passed the concussion protocol, but team doctors told McCarthy that he still could do so prior to tonight's game.

Packers have signed DT Bruce Gaston (6-2, 310) to the 53 man roster (from the Cardinals practice squad) and placed DL Luther Robinson on injured reserve.

Probably be fun to check out the Cardinal forums to see them bemoaning the loss.

House is out. Hopefully Shields now has his full wits about him.

That sucks that Lattimore is done for the year. More Bad F-ing Jones now. I really like Banjo's special teams capabilities though.

Packers have signed safety Jean Fanor to the practice squad. He played college football at Bethune-Cookman (anyone still remembering how it turned out the last time Thonpson brought in a safety from there???). Fanor played for the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena League in 2013 and 2014.

McCarthy says Rodgers won't get any work until Thursday, not concerned about lack of snaps.
