Was this mascot a real person that dressed in a costume and went out on the field ? Are there any photos ?

I've seen a lot of fake mascots, the wolf, the mouse, the frog, the bear was kind of insulting, and they have a cow out now. I have never heard of that guy

The original mascot may have been dressed as a sausage. Or maybe not.

Mascots, like bald bearded cavemen sporting a horned hat, are good to have to keep your spirits up if your team somehow manages to choke away all its many attempts at winning a super bowl.

I've heard of a "Packy Packer" before, and I've seen pictures of something that looks like a mascot. Not sure if it's real, though.

I remember a Butcher running with a meat clever as a mascot in the 60's.
