Man this isn't looking to be the best week for Arodg.
First he gets called out by his brother on Twitter which causes some people to question his integrity and sincerity and now this.

so we can't run and we can't pass, what's the call? toss it in the dirt on 2?
Sadly, with the OL we have and the lack of creative play calling by MM, there seems to be only one option....run baby run! Check with the Vikings and John DeFilippo and find out how they do it.

This team needs a new coach obviously, but I'm almost under the thought of needing a Harbaugh style head coach with a new breed OC is what is actually needed. Pettine is someone I'd keep as DC, but who knows if that is what will happen. We need a coach that is fiery, has an attitude, and demands perfection or close to it.

I'm not even sure that we will get the players thru free agency that we need to really help turn around this team. We need players at multiple positions in free agency to help out our drafting this year. Finding a veteran DE/OLB is necessary along with drafting one as well. Someone like Clowney, Ford from KC, Fowler from the Rams, and a couple others are really needed. Finding a veteran safety and drafting another is needed as well. We can't expect to be much better next year without removing some of the old players and replacing them with rookies. We need to be very active in free agency and then have a successful early draft. Those first 6 draft picks really need to be successes.

Offensively we have been neglecting it for so long because the defense has been so poor that we have damaged it. We seem to be set at QB and RB along with 3-4 WR's. Our OL is in semi-decent shape on the left side and center... but we have issues at a true #2 WR behind Adams, TE is an issue, and our right side of the OL is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately. Cole Madison could be a factor if he can get over the tragedy of his good friend at WSU killing himself with what it sounds like his gun.

In case nobody noticed....we're tied with the Browns in standings. I can now honestly say I know how it feels to be a Browns fan...
while I understand the sentiment... I feel I must point out that this is the best season that the Browns have had in several years... so trying to understand how their fans feel is still a couple years away.

Again, if you and the defense we are playing have decided that the only play to run is up the middle, then nothing I say will change your mind. You give people crap for being negative and yet you want to say "we dirt'ed it 2 weeks in a row" so why give #12 any options at all?

I'm saying none of it matters if you don't make the play. Everyone clamoring all year for more jone more jone more jones, we need to run, we need to ru, we need to run. Why do we pass on every 3rd and 4th and short, we only need 1-2 yards. All year i hear this. After every game I hear it. well if we can't run it for a couple inches, how good are we?

and i've seen Rodgers throw 2 in the dirt 2 weeks in a row in crunch time that are routine gimmes for any average QB in the past 20 years. and then follow it up missing a wide open TD for the curtain call.
Its the ****** zone blocking scheme that NO ONE will get rid of. When teams know you are going to run they can line up man for man and destroy you at the line just like tonight on that 4th down play.

Sadly it is obvious these two teams are headed in opposite directions

As a Viking fan, I never expect our team to win when visiting Green Bay, Chicago, or even Detroit. Especially, when the opponent has better overall talent. Chin up, all is not lost.

It wasn't a run up the middle, it was off tackle. and there was 1 safety that needed to be slowed up and it probably would have worked. Why run it when you Aaron Rodgers? That will surely make Packerland happy LOL. I am saying he dirt'ed it 2 weeks in a row because he did. He's better than that, or at least was and is being paid to be that. I'm tired of EVERYONE else on this team failing aaron Rodgers for years. The coaches, the play calls, the other players, well a lot of this is on him.

Call the pass, he throws in the dirt again. You know what this place is like today? RUN THE BALL, it's only a couple inches, RUN THE BALL. MM won't run the ball. MM this, MM that, scheme, scheme, scheme. of course they could have called a different play, the run call didn't work. It's not as if every pass works, or even close this year. If your run game can't get a couple inches, what good is it? and never, EVER did I say a "run play up the middle" is the only play to run. I said none of it matters unless you get it. If you can't run the ball when it matters, you don't have a run game. Rodgers wasn't exactly carving them up last night. Give him another throw away? sure it might have worked, what if it was tipped and intercepted because you know they were all playing press and bringing heat.

At the end of this day, the offense isn't all that good and when you can't be counted on to get 3 inches its not just the play calls. That's too easy.

That is thing with people talking about Rodgers. I need to figure out if they think he is playing bad or do they think he is playing bad compared to Rodgers at his best? He is not playing bad. He just hasnt been as good as we have come to expect.

And why when he throws a incomplete pass, it's always his fault and not the receiver.

Take a look at the pocket Cousins was sitting back in all day. He faced basically zero pressure.

Now watch the Packers oline immediately collapse on many of our passing downs.

This is why our offense is so garbage.

Well, I don't think anyone was clamoring for a run up the middle when both guards were hurt and you run out of bunched formation which brought every defender as close to the run as possible...pretty sure that wasn't what people were clamoring for but maybe you talk to different people? As for the "dirt'd" comment, yup, Rodgers hasn't been his usual best-in-the-league self. Hopefully a better coach will bring him back next year cause there's no reason Brees can be doing what he's doing and Rodgers is apparently, to some, playing worse than an average QB in crunch time.

You keep saying this about Aaron Jones 4th down attempt, but it WAS an attempted run up the middle, against a very stacked Viking DL. Either that play shouldn't have been called or if it was, Rodgers should have audibled out of it once he saw the Viking defense line up. Look at the play before that the Packers ran. Same exact play, different Viking defensive alignment, slightly different results.

Will save you time, it's around the 6:35 mark of this:

Everyone gets a dud:
Again, this team can not play a full game and they are a mess. It’s time to blow this current regime up and get a new HC, draft way better talent, and AGAIN revamp the O-line and Defense.

Cuz of his loyalty they won't is last I heard

“Loyalty” would be him resigning at the end of the season but he has to go for sure. I just don’t see under any circumstance him being back in 2019. The playoffs are out of reach and he had Rodgers the entire season....no excuses. The team hasn’t played a complete game all season, and they look uninspired at times...especially Rodgers. You can clearly see him and McCarthy are divided which is never good for the HC and Superstar QB. McCarthy is DONE

MM figured that safety the last time he called the play was just a fluke, so he wanted to prove everyone wrong and call it again....Hey Mike, when the defense knows you are calling a run play up the middle....guess what happens?

Exactly. That speaks volumes about his football IQ as a playcaller and HC. Just like he should’ve at least used a lead blocker on the safety against the Rams he should have here. LOW football IQ displayed every week.
