Rodgers was partly to blame, but geez this offensive line did him no favors today.
They didn't, but then it was the Vikings defense and we were down what? 2 Guards and an all pro left tackle? Lets drop back and expect 5 seconds to throw the ball?

If Rodgers plays lights out next year, i'm gonna be convinced that he was trying to get rid of McCarthy or try to prove a point.
If that's the case, we have bigger problems and it will be years until we can rid ourselves of it.

I would hope Rodgers would not deliberately sacrifice a season to get MM out. That would be much worse than him missing multiple wide open receivers in the end zone this year.

Ok Rodgers wasnt great but how was this game on him over MM? He definitely missed throws on the drive where they were down 10. He was a dud on that drive. But the rest of the game he was playing with Devante Adams and no one else. Graham hasnt done anything and missed a catchable ball early. Adams as great as he was foolishly stepped out of bounds on what would have been a big play. I am fine calling Rodgers a dud because outside of Jones and Adams no one on offense was impressive. Maybe Lindsley and Bahk til he got hurt. But to say he cost us this game is crazy to me.

For two weeks in a row our second half offense was terrible. Teams adjust to us and we dont adjust to them. MM's timeouts at the end of the first half were a joke. His play call on 4 and inches was terrible. The Vikings knew right where it was going. The offense is as stale as it gets.

They showed the clock a few times and it was around 3 second on a few of the sacks. These werent coverage sacks tonight. Hunter and Richardson beat their guys off ball and were right on ar

Duds: the entire team.
It's too bad that a quarterback like Aaron has to play with a bunch of inept team mates. After that fumbled punt recovery, I turned it off and read a book.

This is a flat out horrible team, with a currently below average qb that has “pretty” stats covering up his bad play

In case nobody noticed....we're tied with the Browns in standings. I can now honestly say I know how it feels to be a Browns fan...

I do expect a 30 million dollar a year QB to hit an easy first down and a wide open TD pass. It wasn't the only 2 bad passes in the game either. Everyone that thinks this team should win just because we have Rodgers, needs to re-watch his last 2 plays of this game. It's been happening at points all year long. If we can't depend on him to make those plays, then he needs to give us some money back.

I mean thats football, bad throws are going to happen. We are literally shuffling mid round rookies out there opposite Adams, and an injured Graham. If you honestly believe that Rodgers has played "bad" football then I gotta harshly disagree. Has he been GOAT level qb? no, I gotta agree on that. But he has been very good, you dont get mediocre play and then somehow throw for 20 TD's and 1INT.. that doesn't happen

I'm gonna give McCarthy a break in regards to the timeouts in the second half as I LITERALLY saw the officials take their sweet time placing the ball in which by the time we had a chance to do anything we had less than 5 seconds left.

That is fair, but Rodgers is our multi million dollar man. As unfair as it is, that's what comes with the territory. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Much given much is required.

It's not on Rodgers entirely, but he gets his fair share of the blame.

And for the love of God, why do we run up the middle on every 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1?

The most disappointing season in a long time.
I thought last year when Rodgers went down and Hundley was playing it was a disappointing season. But you are right, this year is worse because Rodgers is our QB and not Hundley and we still look terrible and no road wins

I meant end of the first half. Calling timeouts when the other team has the ball and with our defense is a fool's errand. It comes back to bite us a ton

That is thing with people talking about Rodgers. I need to figure out if they think he is playing bad or do they think he is playing bad compared to Rodgers at his best? He is not playing bad. He just hasnt been as good as we have come to expect.

All the more reason why I said we've been spoiled.

There is absolutely no way Rodgers would throw a season just to fire McCarthy that’s nonsense..

Exactly. He also probably wouldnt have lead them to come from behind wins vs the bears and 49ers. Brought them back against the Rams when the had fallen behind only to have Ty screw it up. And so on

When I made that post about Rodgers playing lights out next year I was saying that half heartedly. I don't think he's the type of guy to do that. Does he question McCarthy's play calling decision? Absolutely, but he wouldn't do something like that i'm sure.

Duds the GB team.
I finally feel that MM needs to go. The team is changing and we need change in play calling. Poor time out management (not super bad this game but bad overall this season). We are getting away from what makes the packers great crosses and slants up middle to quick outside throws and long sideline passes when the long passes are not even needed.... We needed a O line for years none of our guys can make a full season ever..... with a line, new blood coach , corners and 1 receiving weapon I think we can get back on track..... just my 2 cents....
