Green Bays offense relies heavily on the ISO - Spread which means that each receiver must beat his man 1 on 1. This is well known. Majority of the spread routes are all isolation routes. They don't intersect or create mismatches.
I’m not arguing the main points of your post because they are mostly correct, however you keep using statements like “this is well known” etc... these statements lack foundation and do not help whatever argument you are trying to make.

That's right and it worked when we had Driver, Jordy, JJ, Jennings and Finley.

It can still work now but we just dont have the talent level to make it work because we've blown everything on DB's. Also, Thompson(the genius receiver scout) lost his touch and stopped hitting on late round receiver talent so it's been a combination of things that has depleted the overall talent on offense.

Name one late round receiver that TT hit on. I'm saying beyond a few splash plays or a few really good games.

Your right. They were pretty much all second round picks that had a consistent impact. I just remember the word being he was such a genius at finding receiver talent but apparantly not past the second round. All the more reason that we can see that not drafting one early since 2014 was a huge mistake.

All we've done to revamp the offense since then is add a couple washed up TE's and hit on Aaron Jones. Whoopie.

Even when we had the talent it was susceptible to getting stuffed by good deep bump and run defenses, like the 9ers and Hawks. The offense does use more man beater concepts these days, more stack and trip sets. The Spread ISO took the loss of Jordy to finally receive significant modification after years of futility against top defenses. Hopefully this year we'll head away from our Jeff Georgian run n shoot style offense and go back to something more closely resembling a WCO. Sure keep lots of deep routes but lets attack the entire field.

Well you saw they literally had to burn one of their timeouts because the refs took forever to spot the ball. I'm not gonna put this all on McCarthy this one reeked of home cooking.

The refs spotted the ball with 27 left on the play clock. I think that's plenty of time to avoid wasting a timeout

They should always be aware of that clock and have plays ready for that situation. It is like they are trying to out think the defense on every play instead of just doing what they do best. And it is backfiring. And taking too long.
