Practice injury list is awesome...limited but guys like Dillon, Crosby, Keke, Barnes....had zero DNP

Lewis didn't practice today for the Packers, but that may be more due to his age and not the knee that has him listed as LP on Wednesday. I haven't heard much about Mason and how or if that shoulder injury is effecting his kicking, he is also listed as LP.

Odd Packer Central line had him as LP...either way good vibes.

Mason posted a kicking picture from practice today to his social media...I'm hoping that means all systems are a go from him.

So his actual voice or its content?

Aikman isn't my favorite color guy of all times, but even him, I don't mind as much as some seem to.
Aikman is OK. It's just that I prefer Romo and Collinsworth. Some guys have a problem with Collinsworth. These are color guys after all, and that makes it hard for them to not let a little opinion in. Some are happy with an opinion (especially as it relates to their team), others not so much.

Let's get this damn game on with now!!!! We got this in the bagggg!!!!

Well ok, not quite, but it's gotten now to where this time I just don't even feel nervous about this game. And that's probably the first I can say that about an NFCCG in a while.

Obviously last year I didn't feel good about our chances in Santa Clara, but who did? Especially in a game you didn't even expect to get to at the beginning of the season. In Atlanta, well I thought we would do better than we did; but it's usually not a good feeling when you know your offense could have to score 40-50 points and likely get no help from the defense. Against Seattle I probably would have felt like I do now if Rodgers hadn't gone into that game with that damn leg injury. And indeed, had that not been the case we probably would have overcome even those untimely breaks those Sea chickens kept getting.

I think the only time I ever felt so sure we were going to win a playoff game that we didn't was the 2007 NFCCG against the Giants. But considering pretty much nobody saw them coming and underestimated them, that was just one of those unfortunate anomalies we happened to get dragged down by. And of course old Favre just reverting back to stupid play.

This time though I just feel like it is our time. We've lost the last 3 retribution attempts in the nfccg, but at some point we're going to get one, and I believe that opportunity is about as good as it's going to get right now. Plus knowing this is probably going to be the biggest game he'll ever play Brady in, I think Rodgers is set to ball out in this one.

I agree. For me the Color guy adds some fluff and fun to the broadcast. For those that don't like Collingsworth, they should pull old tapes of Howard Cosell or Dandy Don Meredith.

Joe Buck got a lot of deserved criticism in the past for being a monotonous drone who failed to convey the excitement of the game. The perfect example is his call of the David Tyree catch. He's improved a lot since then.

Yeah but most of the criticisms Buck and Aikman get on this forum aren't about monotony, which I think is fair and have no problem with people saying. They're usually selective hearing idiots projecting anti Packer biases onto them that don't exist. That's what I take issue with and get fired up about.

By DVOA (and other metrics), Brady is among the worst QB's in the league when under pressure.

You have to be careful blitzing because he's seen it all, and he can burn you.

But I do think it would be rational to take all the 3 man rush calls, push them on one sheet, burn said sheet to ash, dissolve said ashes in water, have some sort of animal drink said water, kill said animal, and bury it somewhere in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Amen to that! Yeah this does feel different this year. The game last year, I also didn't have much confidence that we could win. 2016 I think all of our dbs and wrs were hurt except Cobb..and he got hurt in that game too. It also didn't help that Ripkowski fumbled on their first drive..the game was all but over after that.

It did sound like you were hating on the Bucs. Hope my comment didn't come off as to assholish. I can see where people would have problems with Brown being in the league.

Nah, your good. Guess the nerves of the game has me hating a little extra this week. Lol

One thing I noticed about Brady, going back to the last time Rodgers beat him.

Once he's out of the pocket and running, he can't complete a pass to save his life.

and that's meaningless

True, as irrelevant as it is that the Bucs lost to the Bears and Rams.

I don't remember the exact rating but I believe Rodgers had a 115 qb rating when the team was down 17-0.

Rodgers had a passer rating of 65.6 in the first half of the 2016 NFCCG vs. the Falcons with the Packers trailing by 17.

I'm pretty sure he's running the ball on first and second down the most of the remaining coaches.

Actually the Packers have run the ball the most on first and second down over the last six games among the four teams which made it to the Championship games.

Amen! Go Packers! Packers 31, Bucs 21 - take that Devin White!

As far as that Seattle loss in 2014, I place the blame for that one squarely on MM. Once we were up 19-7, MM played not to lose, the team lost it's momentum, Seattle caught a lot of breaks, and that's it. But it was MM's penchant to play not to lose that cost us that game.

Fortunately, I see none of that in MLF. This is a very good team, maybe as good as it's going to be for a few years. Let's make hay while the sun is shining - although I hope it snows Sunday!

Is the Bucs defense better than the Rams'? Everyone talks about how Tampa will overwhelm our line and we won't be able to run so they will make Rodgers run for his life but these folks seem to forget we scored 32 points and produced 484 yards against the top rated defense just a few days ago. Unless our OL falls apart and/or we turn it over like the Saints did last weekend I like our chances.

I really love Jones but IMO it more important to keep an All-Pro center. Without a good OL you can't do much offensively. Just ask the NYG.
That’s my take..

jones is good and is a force. But the foundation of the offense in the line. Need to have studs there to give the qb and rb a chance.

Corey also helps Rodgers out by calling line adjustments . So the experience is needed there.

Hmmm, I should have said if he coaches as badly as he did against the Saints. Bucs had a 60% early down run rate, that's just bad. Especially when you consider how dangerous the passing game is for the Bucs relative to their running game.

I would guess that Pettine will attempt to formationally bait them into do something similar on Sunday.
