I think we'll see it at least a little bit.

But if he's rusty and ineffective, I bet they'll quite doing it. Why no huddle him off the field in that case?

If he’s ineffective and they no huddle, aren’t they rendering him to be even less effective? Then they have a better chance at inducing a substitution and catching 12 on the field.

Just seems to me that they really value long, clock killing drives and limiting the number of possessions in a game.

King questionable again, this time it's his back. Is there any part of this guy that isn't hurt?

Some thoughts....
-on offense, the key for me will be the offensive line, specifically how well they pick up the blitz.Watching on good morning football Scott Pioli pointed out how Adams was wide open downfield for touchdowns but Rogders didn't have time to get it to him because the line screwed up their blitz pickups. This part of the game will be huge. Yes, running the ball effectively will be huge but keeping mistakes to the minimum and keeping the Bucs off balance instead of the other way around will also go a long way in deciding who wins.
-on defense they must get pressure on Brady and hit him, most importantly getting good pressure up the middle. I'm hoping Pettine doesn't just play laid back and play it safe all day and let Brady and company do whatever they please.
-yeah the defense has been better but I still don't know if I'm confident in them in a big spot.
-everybody raving about the Bucs, but have they really been that impressive? Won by one score in a game that was close at the end against a so so Washington team playing with an inexperienced backup quarterback.
Needed the Saints to pretty much hand them the game last week. Just take one turnover away- the Cook fumble which would have given them a first down inside Tampa's 45 with a seven point lead-and I think the Saints win. This despite no passes of more than 20 yards by Brees. T here were times the Bucs looked like they had 11 guys on the line because they knew they weren't getting beat deep.
-lots of talk about the Bucs running game, but on NFL Network while they were bragging about it they followed that up by saying they only averaged 3.6 yards a carry.
It's all there for the taking fellas. You just got to want it more and execute.

I have been thinking that the linebackers and tight coverage did us in last game. Having enough time to go deep a couple times would help a lot. And maybe the tight ends can keep those linebackers busy. I think stay away from that rpo quick throw to the outside until we get other things going. Maybe we can use Austin a bit in the passing game.

I really think that if GB doesn't get to the Super Bowl here, it's a big failure for the Packers and for Rodgers. They've got everything set up for them with home field and they've been playing extremely well, some say they're the best team in football. To bow out now would be their fourth straight loss in an NFCCG. It would make Rodgers look a little snakebit, especially since it would send Brady to another Super Bowl, with a second team yet.

They know SF was Rodgers' favorite team growing up, so they might think Rodgers might like to go there. Given what happened last year, however, it seems very unlikely the Packers would go for a trade sending Rodgers there.
Cap hit is almost a wash once you add a seasoned veteran backup QB. I don't see any advantage to GB to send him to a conference contender.

Hmmm, I should have said if he coaches as badly as he did against the Saints. Bucs had a 60% early down run rate, that's just bad. Especially when you consider how dangerous the passing game is for the Bucs relative to their running game.

The Bucs didn't have a lot of success throwing the ball against the Saints with a total of 189 net yards on 34 dropbacks.

In addition their run/pass ratio was pretty even on esrly downs before taking the lead for good.

Let's do this

I hope they also reviewed the more relevant earlier Tampax/Green Bay game from this season, and then the San Fran second a** kicking. I want to reiterate that last year at this time we were all predicting that "this will NOT be a repeat of the first game"...which is sounding kind of familiar and making ol' weedsie boy uncomfortable. This is why I am holding fast and true to my shutting up as to how this one will play out. I've adopted a "one hat at a time" attitude. If and when the Pack get me an NFC Championship hat, I'll buy that to replace my "North (really the Central) Division Championship hat. The central theme here is - ONE HAT AT A TIME.

I'm not a glass is half-full or half-empty sort of personality. I'm the sort of personality that goes out and finds a smaller glass. Go Pack.

I am sure they have gone over the last Tampa game with a fine tooth comb. LaFleur has found ways to neutralize the bears front seven..twice..the rams front 7..and #1 defense..colts #1 defense at the time..saints pretty good front 4. Made Tennessee look like a 1-15 team. I am positive him and his coaches can come up with a plan to stop 95 year old Tom Brady!

I mean I'm excited it's really put up or shut up time now for AR, and I hope he lights the Bucs up and I think he can and will

Yup and I would like to think that the Packers are actually a better team than they were in Week 6. They are playing better on defense and have an offense that has really found its rhythm. Add to that its January, the Packers are relatively healthy and at home. I know we went through this with San Fran last year, but San Fran was the better team in 2019. I think we beat ourselves in Tampa in Oct. and that isn't going to happen again tomorrow.

I also think with the disrespect our defense gets that they have a huge chip on their shoulders.

Hopefully they uncover the field today and let it get a little sloppy to slow their lbs down

I don't recall another game this year where our OL had the issues they had in Tampa in October. The other losses were because of turnovers - especially in OT - and when Cook ran wild in MN. If the OL plays like they have been even without Bak, we don't turn it over and we keep the Bucs from running I like our chances.

I had an awful feeling about the 2016 NFCCG as it got closer, and had a great feeling about last year's NFCCG as it got closer, and we lost both games. I'm not going to predict the outcome, and I'm not really going to really try to communicate the type of gut feeling I have about the game right now.

All I will say is that if the Packers do the things they need to do and clean up the protection issues from Week 6, Rodgers will be able to go to work on their defense.

Defensively for the Packers, I think they have peaked at the right time. It's just going to come down to determination and execution.

The experience from last year's game could ultimately make the difference. Our guys have been there before, the Bucs haven't for the most part.

I can't remember who I heard addressing this, I think it was Tom Silverstein. He felt that the Packers OL, MLF and Rodgers just weren't that well prepared that day to pick up the stunts that TB was throwing at them. I don't know if he was implying that they were a new look or the Packers just didn't do their homework. He did go on to say that he felt it would be a different approach this time around and the offense will be ready.

For what it's worth, I felt we had almost no chance to win the NFCCG last year. This year I feel entirely different.
