yes, and then followed it up with complaining GB hadn't been signing anybody within the first few hours of legal tampering opening up. I get it. LOL
Ok where did I complain that we didn't sign anyone in the first day? I'm curious to see how far you're going to take this. Simply because I expressed my overall thoughts in regards to FA somehow means I'm complaining that we didn't do anything on the first day even though I stated otherwise...Interesting logic you have there.

ok

I'm in complete agreement that we've been playing it safe for too long and it's gotten us nowhere.
when learning of news we didn't get Collins

Again I'm just finding it hilarious how safe people here want to go about this, and not take any chances. We may as well have kept Thompson at this rate.
When someone brought up that signing X who had just been signed wasn't a good deal at all.

And then when we see FA's we easily could've had, ball out we're here reflecting damn, we could've had him had the front office not been so cheap. And then we're doing the same #### all over again next year. -_-
again, while complaining about everyone who was fine with missing out on the players signed yesterday.

are you a politician? complain about people saying it's ok we didn't overspend for players allegedly signing with a new team a couple hours into legal tampering and then say you have no issues with not overpaying. Complain we play it too safe, then say you're ok not overpaying

was that enough? Too logical for you?

Again in which I clarified those were my thoughts in general in how we go about FA. Because I saw someone mistook what I said as me complaining that we didn't do anything on the first day, and thus I clarrified. Matter of fact after those quotes, I believe I made a post regarding that I WASN'T complaining about the first day but in regards to how safe we typically go about FA. Good try though.

oh, I know you clarified, right after you laughed at how safe everyone wanted to play it after every outragous contract was reportedly handed out. I get it

Again my posts weren't in regards to us not getting any of the players however. I never said complained about us not getting signing a particular player on the first day. You assumed I did, as did some of the others. Hence the clarification.

Looking back I can understand where it appeared that I was complaining about us not doing anything based off what I replying to, and it just so happens that individual was talking about not doing anything in the first day. So with that being said, I understand, but what I said wasn't in regards to the first day, but rather my skepticism in how we would go about FA in general.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. But again it wasn't in regards to the first day.

which is why I asked why you were responding in the first place.

Poster A says, "i'm glad we didn't get Collins, way too much for a box safety"
Poster Do7 says "we've been playing it safe for too long and it's gotten us nowhere." and

"Again I'm just finding it hilarious how safe people here want to go about this, and not take any chances. We may as well have kept Thompson at this rate."
are you saying we should have? or shouldn't have? you clarified that we shouldn't have, yet claim we play it way too safe and need to take chances? You clarified we shouldn't overpay and be handing money out right and left, but say it's hilarious that people were more than OK with passing on Collins?

I don't care if we got Amos or not, i'm still ecstatic we didn't sign Collins for that contract and I don't care if it was Gute or Ted that made the call. It was the right one and i'm not laughing at anyone that agrees with me.

Dude I feel like you're arguing at this point for the sake of arguing. I never made any complaints in regards to not signing any particular player in regards to yesterday. It just so happens that the person who I replied to was, and therefor there is where the misconstruction lies, to which I clarified. And I said that hilarious comment based off how safe people wanted to play based off previous discussions in regards to certain players like AB, and Mack, and a few others. But it was Mack in particular simply because people were putting so much stock into the draft picks and whatnot.

In short someone was talking apples, while I was talking oranges, but based off what I said and who I replied to gave the misunderstanding that I wasn't. I already stated who I'd like for us to go and I've said in one of the threads that I'll simply sit back and watch. I still remain skeptical throughout this whole thing, but I'm willing to see how this plays out.

In all seriousness, I'm not trying to backpedal and save face (I assume that was towards me), when I feel like I've made a mistake or I was wrong, I'll be the first one to admit it. I've been wrong plenty of times and I've acknowledged it, and apologized. So when I'm telling you guys that I was not talking about the first day you guys know I'm telling the truth. Hence the clarification.

IF Gute has any money left to spend would like it if he considered slot WR Bruce Ellington. Fast, tenacious, former basketball player who might be a low-risk/low-price addition looking to jump-start his career. Could also be a possible kick-returner.

* Bonus - after tearing hammy in '16 had 1 of the 3 hamstring muscles removed. Can't pull or tear that thing ever again! ;)

I think Gute is a little busy at the moment.....

Don't count on him being remotely satisfied. He would have preferred us give a record setting deal to a box safety. Because if history has shown us anything, it's that success in the league lies in trying to outbid Dan Snyder.

Yeah becaue paying a guy 17 mill per that's never even been to a pro bowl is so trendsetting.

The success of that is just AMAZING!

Do you realize how much your credibility drops when you post a Quantrell Bishop video? This is the same dude that was "calling for Dorsey's head" a 5 months ago, same dude that thought "DeShone Kizer was a future Hall of Famer...Baker Mayfield is a midget, Josh Gordon is the best WR in Football".......if he doesn't have a heart attack between now and the end of the 2019 season, wait for his rants on every player, coach, etc. that he is so "high" on.
