If you're complaining they didn't sign someone today, then yes you are saying to throw some money left and right because that's exactly what teams did.
And tell me where exactly did I complain in regards to them not signing anyone today, hmm? I certainly don't recall me ever saying that. Matter of fact, I believe I stated my gripe wasn't in regards to the first day of Free Agency. -_-

But but but but you said its all about "rookie contracts"?

Can't have it both ways.
What?

I'm not having it both ways, you are. You are saying " sign 2 of the highest paid players in the league AND lock in a smoking game changer rookie no one else will see value in before us".

This is ridiculously silly to even engage.

EDIT: put the phone down and go grab your Xbox remote, let it sim out and let me know if even in a fantasy game world if it gets you a SB this year. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Last off-season the Packers made Brandon's boy the highest paid TE in NFL history and it was a giant flop.

So if he's throwing a fit, I'm going to take that as a good sign.

The Packers for years cant **** or get off the pot on amyone just about ever and miraculously they turn it into you want them to sign every free agent out there.

They have been using these tricks for years on here. Its called nobody lefr to go to the Prom with but the chick in the corner with no teeth.

Finish it off with dollar menu cheesburger.

Sounds like you would be happy with any and everyone in the PFT TOP100 Free agent list. At any price.

Every single signing you are bemoaning how gute And Murphy sat on our hands...

I'm interested in a vision and adding as many game changers as possible for the stretch run of Rodgers career.

Sorry that is so hatd to understand.

I get it. I want it too. I also want to Brady as our backup, ODB as our slot guy, 2013 revis island as our 2nd corner, and the monsters of the Midway as our front 4.

But, this is reality. Teams have budgets and have to make pieces fit. Not all players are plug and play for talent and $$$ reasons.

Learn to embrace the chaos. Not one team ever has bought a Superbowl trophy. Not even the Pats, Rams, "Dream team " eagles... No one.

Would of been happy with Lamarcus Joyner too.

GONE.

Joyner doesn't fit our defensive scheme at all.

He's a slot nickle/safety who has to zone. He's bad in man. Guess what? Pettine likes to play man!

Michael Cohen of The Athletic interviewed a respected DC and former secondary coach in the league. He said Joyner wouldn't fit here at all with what Pettine likes to do.

And paying a box safety who has issues in coverage more than the outlandish contract he got is insane. Please tell me you don't think we should've outbid Washington!

Oh, he does.

About the only thing he doesn't think we should grab via FA is qb ( which arguably should be addressed given ARs recent injury history and our backup play).

A lot of people were indicating that Amos would end up in DEN, but it would seem they're out in him, per Ben Albright.

This adds up, as DEN started with less cap space than us and have spent 11M avg on 31 yo Kareem Jackson (lol) and 13M avg on Jawuan James (lol'er).

I would still really love Amos on GB. Him and an edge would be pretty dandy.

Hey, enjoy being "in the Mix" on just about every free agent out there. "BLUE BALLS IN GREEN BAY" ive had enough until this Gute can close his way out of a Paper Bag.

Congratulations on once again responding with nothing but pure drivel.

Let's recap!

We (Brandon) are mad because we did not:
- Trade for AB, and make him the highest paid WR in the league.
- Trade for Osemele, who does not fit our offensive scheme.
- Sign Landon Collins, a box safety who isn't great in coverage, for a deal over 14/year.
- Sign Lamarcus Joyner, who doesn't fit our defense at all.

Even the Patriots didn't wanna do that deal with AB! Since you want to bring them up so often.

You'd think after Graham, you'd learn that just because you make a deal doesn't make it a good deal.

Just shut 1265 Lombardi down then cause nobody that the entire league has signed tolday can help our ELITE roster.

Shut her down and just go party at Dollar General.

Are you being obtuse on purpose, or does it just come natural to you?

/That was a rhetorical question

Let's be honest, New England couldn't afford to do that, and on top of that Pittsburgh would NEVER trade with New England.

The only reason most players agree to deals this quickly is because they are getting more money than they expected to get which means teams are overpaying. I agree that sometimes you have to overpay for the best players but I don't think anyone who signed today are the best players who you would overpay for.

Other than not getting Humphries I am perfectly happy with what the Packers didn't do today. I think He would have been worth a little more than what he got.
