Are they in a boy band or something? Never heard of them

Yeah.

Matty Ice and the Flames.

You haven't heard of them? They're known for starting their shows out flaming hot, and then cooling off at the end and flaming out.

Not quite dud material, but the D is a concern. A not very good ATL team put together a 20 play drive. If ATL had a few weapons, the score would have been very different. I hope this game was a case of playing down to a bad opponent, but I worry that a good offense will score a lot against GB.
I will also disagree with this post. Atlanta’s weakness is there defense ... they do have playmakers on their offense and it showed.

You know, I see people make hindsight criticisms like this all the time, but what if we had gotten the touchdown?

I've never seen anyone say, "Dud: Going for the TD in the second half instead of taking the points. Yeah, we got the touchdown but it was an unnecessary risk. We should have just kicked the easy FG.
Lol I don’t remember the game offhand ... but I actually have argued exactly that point in here. That being said, I was fine with going for it in that situation.

If only ATL had a few weapons, like Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Gurley, or even Hayden Hurst. If only.
Ridley looked absolutely awful last night.
One of the worst performances I’ve seen this year.
Ryan looked old and arm weary by the end of the night.

I’ll take any win that our D can hold a team under 20pts what makes me nervous is that we will be facing teams with a dual threat receiving and the dreaded run game combined and this D will be tested and this will tell if we can get that top seed at home or the hard way on the road

Don’t be nervous. Those exact same teams you described have to face a very good, smoothly executed offense led by one of the best QB’s ever. Let them be nervous.

I just remember at the time I wanted MLF to take the sure points. If you don't make it you give your opponent a boost. We all saw how Atlanta responded even tho they didn't get 6. They kept 12 on the sidelines for a big chunk of that quarter.

I wasn't disappointed that the Packers went for it on 4th and 1 at the goal line, I was more disappointed in the play call. Granted, that is the toughest one yard in football, but I would like to see a lot more creativity than just running up the middle.

You also are trusting your defense if you don't pick it up to stop them. In this case both units failed. I think in the Viking game we had the same scenario and didn't Alexander sack Cousins for a safety, 2 points and the Packers got the ball back and then scored I think? Maybe selective memory. :D

I like going up by 2 scores even if it is only a field goal.

sure the D is a concern...but that applies to nearly every team. barns and summers did a pretty good job last game. that 20 play drive had legs because of missed tackles. make a tackle here or there and it wouldn't have occured. they held them to 3 anyway so not much damage done except keeping the ball out of the O's hands. tackling schmackling lol. that team had a good O though.

WTH?>??

Begelton...a dud? The dude literally played two scrub snaps....

Savage...really? Dude came back from an injury and was throwing his body around and into Gurley all night.

Injuries...um....uncontrollable. They suck, but categorizing them as a dud is like saying no injuries to Aaron gets a stud....

Why does MVS get a dud? I thought he did well.

He did. Honestly the only play I think he cost himself was that endzone back shoulder...Adams makes that catch in his sleep, but MVS isn't him...his body positioning isn't nearly as polished. MVS did well.

The D should improve with Clark hopefully coming back after the bye.

I'm going to be honest most of my duds are pretty ticky tacky this week because pretty much everyone played well

MLF put together a very creative game plan and took advantage of the strengths of the skill players available. He definitely deserves a ton of credit for it.

It might be smart to be a bit cautious about the unit's outlook moving forward once they face a good defense though. Up until now they have solely played against terrible ones.

The defense played pretty well against a good offense, tackling was an issue at times though. They need to improve in that area or it might come back to haunt the team in a close game down the road.

Agreed. So far the schedule has been very kind to the Packers. The 4 teams that they have played against have a total of 4 wins among them (4-12).

Vikings: 1-3
Lions: 1-3
Saints: 2-2
Falcons: 0-4

While I am excited about this team, I am not ready to say that they are elite and IMO have some problem areas on both sides of the ball. WR being a glaring one on offense. DL and ILB on Defense. It is going to take some very inexperienced players stepping up and veterans like Clark and Davonte getting and staying healthy to compete against the better teams.

Do you think the Steelers are a good team? Their combined opponents are 1-11 with the 1 being vs the Jets. Seattle's opponents are also 4-12. It is difficult after 3 or 4 games to find teams with winning records vs opponents who also have combined winning records.

I was only speaking about the Packers, I have not followed the Steelers or the Seahawks, so it would be silly of me to comment on either team.

My comment was directed towards the point that despite the Packers 4-0 record, I think they have potential trouble spots that need to be addressed. Some posters seem to want to point at their current record and/or the production of the offense and say that is proof that their offense is just fine and nothing needs to be addressed. I would disagree and base a lot of that disagreement on who we have played and hope that Gute isn't complacent and rests on the outcome of those 4 games.

To be honest I believe we were slated as having one of the hardest schedules prior to the season starting. I don't think anyone anticipated Minnesota, NO, and Atlanta to take a nosedive the way they did. By nosedive in NO's case I mean not play as stellar like they did last year.

I think Pittsburgh's defense is for real though. As for Seattle they EASILY could've been 2-2. So they don't really scare me all that much. I think our secondary is better than what people believe, but we do have some glaring weakness in regards to stopping the run. Overall I like our chances against any opponent. I have concerns of course when we play certain teams like San Fran, but considering how beat up they are, I would LIKE to think we can take them.

Actually the Packers had the 15th toughest schedule entering this season based on opponents winning percentage in 2019.

It was to be expected that the Vikings will struggle this season and the Falcons were only 7-9 last year to begin with.
