Uhhhh???? I don’t think either one of our guards are that good. I’m legit concerned for Rodgers. I would suggest putting him in situations where he’s rolling out or on a boot...but that knee. Smh hell Suh is no spring chicken either. This could get ugly.

Would be nice if a couple of draws would work. But there has to be a small hole to run through.

Rodgers alluded to ball control in his presser yesterday.

To C-Lee's point, I expect to see a lot of quick throws, and also attempt to establish the running game. Keep the Rams from being able to tee off on Rodgers. Down and distance will be particularly important.

If we're able to do that and keep the Rams offense off the field, it will bode well for us.

Packers should go into this game with about 10 screens drawn up. The Rams are going to play man to man I can almost guarantee it. They don’t fear our WRs or offensive line.

Donald is going to get his. That's basically a foregone conclusion. The Rams have at times been vulnerable on defense even despite that. Minnesota and Seattle both put 31 points on them, despite Donald having three sacks between those two games.

Surprising to me, the Rams are tied with 7 other teams with only the 8th most team Sacks (19) this season. The Packers are just one sack back at 18. So yes, Donald, Suh and Brockers are kind of scary, but teams we have already faced (Lions, Bears, Vikings and Bills) have an equal amount or more sacks than the Rams. But yes, with 8 sacks on his own, Donald is going to have to be game planned for and could have a "Mack like" game.

Obviously, none of this takes into account who each of these teams have faced so far this year. :)

The Rams have more total pressures than any of the teams you mentioned though and rank fourth in the league in that category. The offensive line definitely has to perform at a high level to keep Rodgers upright on Sunday.

Teams probably recognize the guys they have on that line and are running an offense to get the ball out quicker. I'm sure the # of running plays against the Rams is probably lower, as they're usually scoring a lot of points and forcing the other team to play keep up, or try anyway. There probably isn't anyplace to find this, but I wonder what a certain teams average release time is against the league and then against the Rams? I have to imagine teams are gameplanning all week to get the ball out faster against these guys. Leaving opportunity for pressures, but not many for sacks.

Actually opponents have attempted to run the ball vs. the Rams on 36.7% of the offensive plays, which is the eighth lowest number in the league.

Opposing quarterbacks have taken an average of 2.53 seconds to throw the ball against the Rams which seem to be around the league average.

Rodgers has never been the speediest of QBs and I don't detect him being particularly inhibited in running bootlegs or running downfield. Where he seems to be limited is in his previously uncanny ability to slip and slide in or out of the pocket, a matter of quickness not speed.

Suh will go after that knee after a sack, during a sack, etc. Gotta watch out for him and his dirty antics.

Do you have a blitz frequency and ranking for the Rams?

It’s gotten really ugly the past two weeks. Our DLine is starting to play how everyone perceived they would. AD99 is unreal.

All true. The only difference is this: the rest of the Defense, including Suh and Brockers we’re still piecing their roles together during those games.

The Vikings offense is freaking legit #truth.

Good take here. As stated, we are starting to get home without blitzing. We don’t blitz much in the first place, although last week we did more than we have.

They also haven't played a real NFL offense since then either

If your referring to the Rams then yeah, I’d agree with you. But the results are what you’d expect from an unbeaten team right?

As I said, I do think y’all will score quite a bit. Just not enough.

I have no doubt that the Rams' defense is capable of limiting teams a lot more than they did against Minnesota and Seattle. However, the Packers coming off a bye are as much of a handful as they've faced this season.

The Packers and Vikings are darn near identical in points per game (24.7 vs 25.3), and that's with Rodgers playing gimpy. I've got a lot of respect for what Flip has done with Cousins and that receiver duo, but they don't compare to Rodgers when he's right.

I've said for two weeks now that the Packers' chance of winning this game is that Rodgers is healthy off the bye and the offense eliminates all the mistakes and locks it in. That's it. If they do that, they have a chance. If they play like that did Vs. the 49ers, they're sunk.

I'm not sure i've seen our offense play at a real NFL level either for more than a few possessions a game. I'm hoping they they have their personnel groupings figured out and play strengths and get this offense and timing down because it can be great. I think they will, but they've also looked like a ****** pile at times too. Don't try and get too cute, just line up and play to your strengths is all I want them to do.

Yeah. Thanks for digging that up.

One thing to note: the Rams boast the best OLine in the league.

I know a lot of the metrics (i.e. pff) argue that right now. I actually would take the Packers' unit over them when Bulaga is healthy. Bakhtiari is the best pass protector in the game, and they're pretty comparable across the board from there.
