Second half defense is garbage. These guys can never stop anyone when they need to close out a game and win. This was completely on them.

Once again the defense lets the other team walk down the field with zero resistance and once again players getting hurt on almost every play. Same thing every year, yet the super fans here say the same thing every time "it happens".

Studs: Rodgers and the young WRs. They played great today.

Duds: Defense in general. My mind is blown how we could be playing decently this whole season and then **** the bed right as Rodgers is getting his groove back. Capers gonna Capers as usual.

Hi Rodell 330, I completely agree. Perhaps you, or someone else, will answer this question if mine. Why have the Packer defensive backs made to stay away from the opposing receivers and have to wait for them to catch the ball before they make a move?

Studs: Play calling and offense overall.
The Packers found a great offense game plan last week mostly featuring Ty and Cobb, but then this week they were both out. They had be completely different on offense and they did well.

Gunter: Gunter just shut down Julio Jones. Yes, he had help, but was almost always there anyway. We may have Shield's replacement already.

Studs: Our Offense played good overall.

Duds: Capers Defensive scheme. We played very soft with the exception of a few plays. How the same Atlanta receiver can catch 2 back to back passes with no defender within 5 yards on the final drive is dumbfounding. We should have rushed 5-6 and played full press off the LOS.

How could full press man to man work with all backups at corner?

And almost anytime a receiver catches the ball with nobody within 5 yards, someone on the field messed up.

Rodgers looks back.

Not that Atlanta has a good defense, but he was back to making great throws again.

The offense that played today combined with some corners back on defense and the Packers can be very good.

After looking at NFL game pass, the Packers actually did blitz and press on the 9 yard pass on 2nd and 10 and the next 3rd and 1 play.

Players didn't hold coverage though. Both man and zone didn't work that drive.

I am actually coming out of this game proud of the team and hopeful about things going forward. The last seconds loss is bitter, to be sure, but the way the Packers played with so many key players out with injuries makes me feel like they are starting to get things together; although it will be awhile yet before we see just how good this team can be this season.

If Datone Jones doesn't commit the penalty to continue Atlanta's go ahead drive and Ladarius Gunter doesn't drop the pick six interception to stop their winning drive we'd have ourselves a 5-2 record right now.

The Pack gets halfway to the playoff goal of 10 wins against the Colts at Lambeau next week.

This pretty much could close the thread IMO. I feel the same way about the D. NOW you decide to suck royally? Yes the injuries are really unfortunate...but that D was scary bad. They would have scored 50 if the Packers offense didn't keep the time of possession balanced.

It was a good game. No shame or finger pointed needed this time. Packers played a heck of a game, but lost to a quality team in their house by a point.

Move on to the next game. Keep the momentum hopefully.

Stud: The Ripper! Can he be a 10ish carry guy and catch a pass or two out of the backfield? That would be nice.

Dud: Ron Zook. A nice return by Davis but, those Special Teams penalties are killers!

I like Gunter. He looks like a re-make of Mike McKenzie to me. He's young and still raw but I like what I see.

I agree. This was one of those "last team to have the ball" games and the Pack just ran out of time. Good to see some of the young players make some plays and back to back solid games for Adams. Losing a lead with 30 seconds to play stings, but I came away encouraged by the way we battled.

Studs - Really good QB play on both sides. O- lines on both sides outplayed both defenses for the most part.

Duds - dang penalties, veteran mental errors and db's not catching the ball. Also timeout taken in the 3rd quarter. Too much of that non-sense going on for a veteran QB.

Ski the "the full back"
Duds: the "D" backs their play has Been suspect for sometime and every week they represent the worst, can't cover deep, and can't catch INT's!
MM's weak challenge(got bailed out with 12man penalty)
Running game
