You really are having a hard time following the conversation aren't you? You are so hell bent on making this an "anit-vaxers" VS "pro-vaxers" discussion, that you are blinded by what is actually being talked about.
Tell us why you have a problem with Rod not getting vaccinated so we can get a better understanding.

NO it`s not just his business, he lied. THAT`S JUST WRONG !
I was very vocal about Rod's character as you were prior to the season but people took me to be a troll. So we are relatively in the same boat. However, in Rod's defense he did mislead people but didn't commit any crime or broke any mandates. Taking the vaccine is just a personal debate at this point in regards to Rod's situation.

If GB runs the ball and eats the clock keeping Mahomes off the field we stand a very good chance of beating KC. Doesn't matter who the QB is, Love just has to not do anything dumb this week.
My biggest concern is Love playing within the system. In preseason he threw an interception instead of throwing the ball away.

In pre season you give a young qb full meals and see what works. In season you try to keep things simpler and less complicated.

If he is our best option for a win against the Chiefs then obviously I want him on the field but he may have cost us a win by his failure to be honest. I`m with you here Weeds, I only have a few heroes, although being considerably younger than you, MY heroes are of this century like Jordy Nelson, John Kuhn...;).
Wether people agree or disagree with the Covid situation, he misled the NFL rules and caused problems for the Packers.
Considerably younger? Whyyyy I oughta... hahaha... :roflmao:

Rod didn't commit any offense. Was he misleading, yes. However, under the circumstances with regard to Packer's covid rules he didn't break any by not getting vaccinated.
Yeah...yeah...you've made your viewpoint well known goose. That's fine - I'm just indifferent to Aaron Rodgers - #12 is Our franchise. I get it. There just aren't many gray areas in my world. Besides, it's a game and I'm losing interest in all the hi-jinx. Next man up.

Well I`m sorry you were accused of being a troll. I don`t recall ever calling you a troll. I said the other day that if YOUR employer told you it was mandatory and while you were within your rights to refuse, they were within thier rights to refuse to work there. Those were the rules and he used "Words" to bypass it. I`ve swallowed the pill of his character but THIS is not acceptable. He`s no more important than anybody. Sorry but we`ll obviously need to agree to disagree. No hard feelings

You didn't call me a troll the Rod fanatics on the other hand. Anyway...I get your point that if it's mandatory there are consequences. I don't argue that. I totally agree just like in the Patriots situation with Cam. Cam had every right to refuse but had to deal with the consequences. In this case Packers organization doesn't have a mandate in place. If they do have one in place about getting the vaccine I will eat crow.
Once again him getting vaccinated or not, at this point, is a personal debate.

Yes and that is the growing pains of a green QB. All you have to do is look at some of the high first round picks the last 2 years and they are struggling at times. Rodgers struggled at times in his first few years. People that are thinking Love is going to walk out there and suddenly be pretty good are setting themselves up for disappointment. It also wouldn't surprise me if those are some of the people first in line to criticize a bad performance and declare Love was a bust.

I think we still have a good chance to win this game. It'll be like the 2010 game against the Patriots that Flynn started.

What problem did he cause? Whether he had told anyone publicly that he'd refused the jab or not, the 10 days would be the same. Mostly, it seems a lot of people who are butt-hurt about not knowing that "immunized" and "vaccinated" are not synonyms are throwing tantrums.

And Benkert is VACCINATED. Hmmmmm And people are pointing fingers at Rodgers?
Benkert was very team wise and will recover faster and not spread it as readily. It’s likely had he forgone the vaccination, we’d forfeit the game(s) altogether with no QB being able to play.

Yes. If I recall it was in a 1st down also? which was totally unnecessary. Anyway it was preseason and one of his first 40 throws in live preseason action.
We knew he’d have a learning curve, as long as he’s learning from his mistakes then preseason is a fine time to make some.
Hopefully he’s prepared to throw a couple away if it’s early in Downs and there’s nothing there. I’d rather he error on that side and hand it to Bojo on 4th and 3 and pin them inside the 20

Well, I hope he makes a full recovery...but i'm not arguing the efficacy of the vaccine just pointing out that he still got it and had to be on that covid list. The end result is the same.

Btw we still have Cobb as Schultz pointed out.

Yeah he’s been having an argument with himself for quite a while now.

Anyone old enough to recall the name Don Horn in Packer lore. Never had the career fans hoped. But on December 15, 1968 the 2nd year 3rd String QB who just got into the hotel at 2am from the Army reserves was forced into action that final Sunday due to injuries to both Bart Starr and Zeke Bratkowski. The kid proceeded to throw 2 TDs to lead us to a 28-27 victory over the **** Butkus Bears and knocking them out of the division title. My optimism that day for Horn was 10 times less than it is for Love tomorrow but he came through. Maybe Jordan can do the same.

And yet neither of you have proven me wrong but have used tactics like "talking in circles" or using childish antics like calling people "kid," or telling them they don't understand what is being discussed but can't elaborate. I guess what you say is right and try to shut down others because they are wrong instead of just having a civil discourse. LOL But let me digress....I guess I will be accused as "sidestepping."

I'm obviously in the camp of swallow your pride and give Rodgers an extension.

That being said, I hope Love lights it the hell up tomorrow. Because it can only be a good thing for the Packers. Either you drive up a trade market for him, or maybe he truly is the future.

I would prefer another 4 years of Aaron Rodgers knowing that we will compete for Super Bowls. But if Love shows that he can stand up on a big stage tomorrow, it really takes a lot of pressure off. And gives more leverage to the Packers.

Someday we know that another QB will have to fill the shoes of Aaron Rodgers just as another had to fill the shoes of Brett Favre. Let us hope it is another winner.

Hitting on three consecutive QB's would be unprecedented.
