Longtime Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby announces retirement from NFL

The Silver Fox is hanging 'em up. Crosby holds the distinction of being the Packers all-time leading scorer, with 1,918 points.

He had a great run and wish him all the best.

Hope he signs a one day contract to officially retire as a Packer.

We had his back when his career was at its darkest. He will be remembered as one of our best FG kickers, maybe not for FG%, but for points and clutch kicks. The 2017 playoff game in Dallas to cap the run-the-table year was probably my best memory of Crosby. He hit a 56 yarder to give us the lead with a minute left, we gave up the tying FG, then Rodgers-to-Cook gave us the chance to win again. Crosby nailed a 51 yarder (twice, due to a Dallas timeout) to walk off with the win.

Remarkable Career in GB. He’s definitely like family. Not only does he hold many franchise records, he was always actively involved in helping the community. It feels somewhat surreal to witness him retiring.
