We did manage to guess the total points, but they were misallocated. No bonuses for that.
This was a difficult one especially for a TNF game. Saints were really banged up. Old coach coming back to the Big Easy. Broncos getting stuffed at home on Sunday. That division will come down to Cousins vs. Mayfield.

The trees in my front yard are a little later in the season. The peak in my area was likely two weeks ago.
My gardener will be in Tuesday to trim our hedges, and mow the lawn. We don't get visible changes, unless you accept seeing locals who've lived down here all their lives heading to stores wearing heavy coats, gloves, and scarves with heavy pants. Meanwhile, those of us who are transplants go to the same place at the same time, in our shorts, t-shirts, and sandals. A little later, we'll be taking a dip in our outdoor pool.

If I got the home and away teams mixed up anywhere just keep the score as is.

How's everybody fairing today?!?
I can tell you that when I saw McManus nail that game winner it brought tears to my eyes. And the fans were very emotional. Even though we won big games with Crosby and Longwell all those years I had not been as happily surprised since the MNF game in 1996 when Chris Jacke kicked a 53 yarder in OT to beat the 9ers.

I felt a surge over it too. Then he did the Lambeau leap. It was awesome. We had a real comeback win, and the new kid on the block kicked the winning FG.

I remember that kick against the 49ers like it was yesterday. It seemed like that ball took an hour traveling from his foot until it was ovr the crossbar, and then the two officials looking at each other and raising their hands. Good times!

This was such a big win. Many fans outside of 1265 won’t understand what we’ve been through at Kicker. It’s immediate when you watch McManus the ball traveled on a line on every kick. The Lambeau Leap for a Kicker is pretty neat. I also liked that guy that got ejected for pushing a Texan off the edge magically returned. He was hugging our Kicker the whole thing was perfect like a movie.

This game might’ve been an AFC opponent but it was big. Houston has a good team but we’re still better. We closed the gap to 1st place.

If the season closed today?
1. Detroit
2. Washington
3. Tampa Bay
4. Seattle
5. Minnesota
6. Green Bay
7. Chicago

I don't know where I stand this week, but I do know I got several wrong. Could't hit a Bingo if my life depended on it.

Not gonna lie.....I was looking forward to reading all you guys going apoplectic about your kicking game if that kick didn't go in......call it a guilty pleasure.
But....I'm also ngl...watching Lambeau go absolutely effin nuts and then dudes leap into the stands....I smiled.
I hope we're both at 2 losses when we play in a month.

MLF gave him a game ball in the locker room. That 9er game was crazy. Don Beebe got up and ran for a TD when SF thought he was down by contact. No replay then. Young was out and Grbac was playing. 9ers did not go for the TD after a Favre INT. They thought a FG was all that was needed. Jacke tied it and then won it in OT. When they all were leaving the field Favre said to Reggie " I love you, Man."
