If he has passed whatever protocol tests and is able to play but his physical condition is not ready on Sunday do we bring in Love? Or do we just let a "handicap" Rod play?
If Rodgers is cleared to play then it will be up to him to decide if he can go.

Nfl announced that Green Bay is fined 300k for covid enforcement violations, and AR & Lazard each fined $14,650. Future team violations could affect draft picks.
Last week MLF said he was 100% confident that protocals were followed in the football spaces in GB. I guess the NFL didn't agree.

I know it is Aaron Rodgers, but I'm not a fan of walking into a game without a guy that saw the plan installed throughout the week. I could see a rather average start to this game...if not slow. Now that isn't to say it isn't possible that we hit ground running, Aaron is that good of a QB...time will tell.
If AR can play, it’s not even up for discussion. AR not practicing for 6 months is better then Love at this point

I will be doing some of the Lords work on Friday/Saturday. So I am not sure what is going on this weekend. I may just get into my camper and crash hard. Football seems less important now. I dunno. Last time I was in, I was in a location I kinda liked.

Seahawk, I respect you you even more, man! I have seen how leveled headed you were and now I understand.

Then I don't have a problem with the league here. It is rather humorous how some think we got a slap on the wrist. It appears we got the same punishment as other teams have.

I expected the penalty to be more harsh as it was pretty obvious for everyone to see that Rodgers didn't abide by the rules on several occasions.

I believe the NFL did this simply because Rodgers was not vaccinated. Had he been they never would have looked into the matter.

That's true. Because as has been mentioned repeatedly he wouldn't have violated any rules if he had been vaccinated.

WR Lamb from Dallas gets more fines for jersey untucked

I think they did agree if the fine was for the Halloween party, unless the Halloween party was in the football spaces in GB.

And there lies the irony of it. It's funny that he wouldn't have broken protocol because he would have been vaccinated but those who are vaccinated are still catching it. Just pointing that out.

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't be mortified if Love had to start, again, although AR is much, MUCH preferred as we attempt to stay in contention for playoff week 1 bye. If Love started I surely would hope MLF would have more quick pass and hot receiver plays available in addition to a much heavier run/pass mix for the offense. I have no doubt anymore that the D can & will shut-down Wilson & the offense, even if Carson is back at RB for them.
Yes. This is an interesting matchup. What I’m seeing so far is that the Seahawks D is looser until opponents get near that Redzone. Then they get stingy. Whereas GB is kinda opposite. Both systems have been effective though as we rank /#6 (Seattle) and #8 (GB) scoring allowed. Also, much of the GB Defensive success comes from winning the TO battle. We need to be smart with the ball and don’t give Seattle any help.

What going to be a factor is that the Seattle D
is #30 in Sacks whereas GB is #11 in Sacks. If Seattle gives Rodgers time, he’ll eat them alive. If Seattle tries to send 5-6? GB will be better prepared this time.

I believe Rodgers will be looking to show up and prove how valuable he is. What better way than to play big after that poop show last week.

My understanding is that he does not have to pass covid test. Could still test + but be asymtomatic. I think he just has to wait 10 days after he last had symptoms. Which will be Saturday.
Yes. In addition, he’s not contagious anymore. Unless he licks door posts and spits on us, even then is a small maybe. I’m more concerned with his energy level, it hits some people harder than others. Although the younger you are the faster you recover.

The good news is our QB got this over now. He might be a little fatigued against Seattle (that’s how I felt) but should be closer to 100% after the bye week.

according to rod he is "doing fine" so hopefully he is asymptomatic.

Wasn't the team, along with Lazard and AR, fined for that Halloween party not on the team's premises?
You may be right. I thought it was for not wearing masks at interviews. It seems strange that the Packers would be fined for a party they had no control over. You would think the individuals involved would be responsible for their own behavior.

Rodgers has to pass a fitness type of test, which includes checking the heart.

If you read the protocols for the non vaccinated players you would think they were living in China or something with all the restrictions. They have to wear masks even to a concert or attending a house party with more than 15 people. I guess that is where he "broke" protocol. Guess he wasn't wearing a mask while he was doing the Humpty Dance at the Halloween party.

And I like to point out the irony again with these "protocols" that majority on these Covid lists are vaccinated.

This was Lamb's second offense. The first one was around $5,000.
Dont really make any sense...even 5k for untucked to 14 what ever k for putting people lives at risk (not my words its how nfl views this)

The whole outrage was about whether he was vaccinated or not. Then majority of the people realized he broke no mandates or obligations with vaccinations. Then the outrage turned to, "but but but he lied...OMG HE LIED...how dare he lie to me about what he puts in his body...OMG!" Now it's an argument about if the fine was justified. LOL

This is too funny!
The lying was bad. But he also got himself put on the reserve COVID list, and had to miss a game they likely would have won had he played. And now the Packers have lost home field advantage for the playoffs. That's quite an achievement. Let's think about that if we have to go back to Arizona or LA in January instead of playing someone in Lambeau.
