I'm guessing the team and AR will be fined for not enforcing all of the protocols... I'm hoping AR pays ALL of the team & personal fines, but we'll see how magnanimous he's feeling.
Really will depend on the type of violation that the fine(s) are for. If it was the teams job to enforce an NFL policy and they weren't, I can see the point of making them pay it.

And if Rodgers plays a bad 1st quarter MLF can always reinsert Love.
Actually, I would love to see him out there again. Gives us an idea if the guy has what it takes or that he is not ready or he just doesn't have it.

The NFL's COVID protocols are stricter than those for vaccinated players. They are as follows, per the NFL:
  • If an unvaccinated person tests positive, the protocols from 2020 will remain in effect. The person will be isolated for a period of 10 days and will then be permitted to return to duty if asymptomatic.
  • Unvaccinated individuals will continue to be subject to a five-day quarantine period if they have close contact with an infected individual.
this is the part of the nfl's protocols that make zero sense to me. there are other parts that make almost no sense, but this one is idiotic. according to rodgers, he is not required to take another test for 90 days. so basically, because of his one positive result, he gets a three month pass?

Well I wouldn't base anything on according to Mr. Rodgers. I would assume that until he is vaccinated, he still has to operate under the rules of an unvaccinated player. Here is the only thing that I found in a quick search regarding players that have previously had covid. It appears that he has to stay in the same protocols as before unless he gets one dose, which coupled with his covid would make the league consider him as "vaccinated":

When is a player considered fully vaccinated?

The NFL considers a player fully vaccinated if they fall into one of the two following categories. They either are 14 days removed from their final dose of Pfizer, Moderna or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or they previously contracted COVID and are 14 days removed from a single dose of any vaccine.

None of it makes sense. He is supposed to cover up to prevent spreading to who? The point of the vaccine is supposed to do what again?

Getting back on track. Seahawk fans are already losing faith in Russel and considering his track record at Lambeau field should give Packs the advantage.

HOWEVER, now brings up an interesting scenario in regards to Rodgers. We don't know his body's condition so the question is is he ready physically? If he has passed whatever protocol tests and is able to play but his physical condition is not ready on Sunday do we bring in Love? Or do we just let a "handicap" Rod play?

Wait...what? It was a finger...
When I broke a ligament in my middle finger I was not able to throw a baseball the way I did prior to the incident. That restricted my mobility to throw the baseball from center field to home plate. So I was moved to right until I had that "feeling" back into my middle finger. I guess "mobile" wasn't the correct word but hand injury does cause movement restrictions in terms of throwing. Sorry TENDON is it? Whatever it is called. I tore something in that finger.

That I'm following, gotcha.

I would start Rodgers in place of Love, in the same situation that the Seahawks are in. Rodgers has been giving the Packers the middle finger for months now, might as well see how he plays with it injured. :coffee:

Cheap shot, I know it.....but its the way I feel about him.

The EARLIEST AR can be re-instated (and practicing with the team) is Saturday... not sure where to put the odds but he may not be available for the Seattle game. Fortunately it's a home game so no planes to coordinate IF he's good to go Sunday.

Russell Wilson pulled a "Reggie White miracle healing" and turned a 6 week recovery into 2 weeks so he'll be playing.

I love the way GB's Defense has kept both Murray & Mahomes contained and not running for miles... hopefully they keep the same mind-set & force Wilson to throw from inside the pocket, over our 6'-3" to 6'-5" front 5.
Just in the reports coming out today. I think it’s a 75% chance (my opinion) we see Rodgers suit up.

I also believe the extra week for MVS is important. I think he was basically testing and conditioning his hamstring last Sunday. I think he’s going to open up some this week.

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't be mortified if Love had to start, again, although AR is much, MUCH preferred as we attempt to stay in contention for playoff week 1 bye. If Love started I surely would hope MLF would have more quick pass and hot receiver plays available in addition to a much heavier run/pass mix for the offense. I have no doubt anymore that the D can & will shut-down Wilson & the offense, even if Carson is back at RB for them.

I honestly just hope he gets out there. IMO, don't think NFL QB'S should be vaccinated, but to each his own. I look forward to beating these Seahawks, getting back on track to host the playoffs at home.

Regardless of who's at QB I would love for MLF to utilize both Jones & Dillon, together, in some formations. Imagine the defensive confusion with MVS, Cobb or Deguara in motion behind the line, a RB swinging out opposite direction of motion-guy, AND the threat of a run up the middle? Could go play-action, swing pass either direction, OR find a receiver getting the ball out of the QB's hands and to a playmaker in under 2 seconds. Since GB rarely hands-off to the motion-guy I think that element is getting ignored by the D so it's "just noise".

Since Shaggy shut down the AR Performance Thread, anyone know where we are suppose to chat about Rodgers if he isn't practicing or playing?

This is just rich. If the source is correct, Rodgers is continuing to play the victim card. Sorry, but the clown car is getting bigger.

Edit: From today. Maybe AR ate some humble pie last night?

Not to be overly critical. But Love should’ve never thrown the ball more than 25 times last week. Those other 9 throws should’ve been Runs or roll out options.
