It's not that serious.Dude lay off. You act like he wanted to get hurt. Seriously.

I agree. No need to call the dude a joke for getting hurt. It's not that serious.
Absolutely inexcusable in a training camp/preseason joint practice.Fight broke out during the joint practice with the Texans today. Lonnie Johnson delivered a massive hit to Jace Sternberger whose helmet goes flying. Benches clear. Sternberger goes into the training room, but does return. Trevor Davis gets hurt as well. So far the joint practice has been costly. Offense has looked bad, defense has looked good.
Couldn’t agree more. Totally unnecessary. Rodgers had some words for the Texans secondary. LeFluer did as Well. This was actually the second hit to Sternberger that would have been a defenseless receiver penalty. Both times the rookie hung on to the ball, kid has been a beast today. Thankfully he’s Ok.Absolutely inexcusable in a training camp/preseason joint practice.
It's not the first time I heard his name too. If I was on the field, I'm making sure I get even with him. Eff that.Couldn’t agree more. Totally unnecessary. Bill O’Brein did appropriately respond by sending his *** to the locker room. It's not the first time I heard his name too. If I was on the field, I'm making sure I get even with him. Eff that.
In that case if I thought it “seems implied” (which by definition is another way of saying it was never said) it might be best to offer the benefit of the doubt. When you constantly and repeatedly respond to multiple posters using snippets of an entire argument and on “implied” information, it often comes off as a form of being condescending, even if it wasn’t intentional. You also said
Not to mention both him and G Mo had a good start to last season before succumbing to injury.
While not specifically mentioning at WR by putting him in with GMO it seems implied. At least it seemed that way to me as I was thinking what does he mean Davis was off to a good start he never played on offense or at least never saw a pass. Apparently Captain thought so as well.

So yes, Allison isn't the fastest guy, nor was his 3 cone that great, but when #12 is getting you the ball, sometimes those things don't matter as long as you are where Aaron expects you to be.

As noted above, Allison is plenty fast once he gets rolling, long speed. Quickness and separation in short-to-intermediate routes is the issue, traits we typically associate with slot receivers. Whether catch radius and chemistry compensate and whether he can avoid injury running routes in the danger zone on a consistent basis remains to be seen.Seems like when we talk about Packer WR's, when #12 is the QB, we always need to talk about chemistry between QB and WR. From everything I have read, Allison and A-Rod have that. Allison's 3-Cone Drill is only in the second percentile among receivers. While I expect him to be productive he's not agile enough to have success lining up in the slot on the majority of snaps.
I'm sorry, but you mentioned in a discussion about Davis as a receiver that he had a good start to last season. There's no way to understand that in any other way.
you should elaborate for those of us that aren't thereMLF pizzedoff again today.

Couldn't agree more. I wish some others on this forum would have had the same rational thought process with the defense during the first half of last season as well, given that they have suggested that no strides were made last season.I think fans should expect some tough sledding for the offense through the first half of the season. There will be a transition period. Hopefully the defense can win a few games while the other side comes along.
This is a mindset thing that's going to take a while to become fully ingrained into the new culture. We all know that the urgency level, or lack thereof, wasn't there coming out of huddles in McCarthy's offense later on in his tenure.Sounds like both the Packer offense and the Packer defense were being pushed around by the Texans in their joint practice today. MLF stated that the Packers offense lacked energy or urgency coming out of the huddle. Not sure about the rest of the details, just that #12 said that he is very happy to have the joint practices done.
Not really that big of a shock. Spriggs.....if I can say it, I know some are sensitive about this.....WAS A BUST! 3 wasted draft picks to boot!spriggs out...rb keith ford from ind is in.
