Here we go: The #Packers are signing TE Jimmy Graham, source said. Huge move for GB.

Feels much like the same move we made in 2016 with Cook and again in 2017 with Bennett. Let's hope 2 out of 3 aint bad.....*insert Meatloaf music*

I gave you an agree, but not sure about needing a "substantial" improvement at OLB and ILB. We definitely could use some better depth at both of those positions though. My focus is on the secondary, especially the CB position. I have to think if Gute is going to spend money on FA's its going to be on 1, if not 2 mid to high end CB's.

Nick Perry will probably be playing more edge rusher from the dline than playing linebacker (never was really sure why TT drafted him to a defense that he didn't fit well in) so i count him as a DE more than an OLB (though to be honest I don't really count him that much since he'll spend most of the time injured). Outside of Matthews I can't think of any impact players in the linebacking group. Problem with relying on free agency for corners is that they get EXPENSIVE very quickly.

Side note, I'm curious if the Packers have thought about giving the Dolphins a call for DeVante Parker. That team is obviously just selling everything and he might be available at a decent price via trade.

Davante Adams: 4 years, $58.9M, $30M guaranteed

Sammy Watkins: 3 years, $48M, $30M guaranteed

Allen Robinson: 3 years, $42M, $25M guaranteed

If I’m the #Packers, I feel really good about the deal I made. If I’m Davante Adams, I sort of wish I hit the open market.

And he's been underpaid in the past too. I do t care if he's worth a 12 million dollar cap hit or not. If everyone is healthy he will again be in that 60-80 catch range 800-1200 yards and 10tds. What do you think Watkins is going to do at 16 million per? That's what this is about
well, it looks like I've nailed that once again...

I will throw up if Jordy goes to NE. At that point I’m forced to root against him, and I could never want to root against Jordy.

I hope we don't see Jordy going over to NE either, but he is the type of player BB loves. I would be even sicker if he went to the Vikings.

I could see Jordy simply retiring and maybe that is the conclusion he came to in the off season anyway. But if he still wants to play another 1-2 years, I hope he hasn't shut the door on returning to Green Bay and vice versa.

According to Rob Dembrovsky, looks like Jordy is likely to retire.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. He sounded like he was going to honor the last year of his contract and then decide if he was done. I can imagine during the offseason, he had enough time with his wife and family, as well as a chance to look over his finances and may have decided that retirement isn't such a bad thing. More power to him if that is the case, family first!

Also, wouldn't be surprised if he informed the Packers that he was leaning that way. If that was the case, would have rather seen him just retire, instead of being cut, but maybe there was an advantage of going that route?
