Interesting Hobbs $48M for the a CB that rated 110th of 223 CB's in NFL last year. Injured on and off last 2-3 years... Lots of money for a ?? Banks for $77M was 50th overall but 77th pass blocking (hope Love can run) and 38th run blocking (good news for Jacobs - but he wanted a WR to help him/them in the run game and that is a nada from Gute).

Yeah, just saw that the Rams released Kupp.

I hope he's affordable and I hope that Gute goes and signs him

He would improve our WR room quite a bit right away. I would still want to see Gute use a high pick on a top WR. As we all know, rookie WR's for the most part, don't just jump in and start producing. A guy like Kupp on a 2-3 year deal gives the Packers a quality WR and less pressure to resign Doubs before this time next season.

Kupp is simply not the type of player Gute gravitates to. Now granted every trend is bucked a time or two but I don’t see it.

I’d embrace it but don’t see it.

Yeah; I'm not a big fan of the "we'll just draft a speed demon who can draw the safeties away from the slot" school of thought. We don't just need a deep threat at WR, we need an experienced veteran who can provide some wisdom and the leadership to the teenagers. That's why I wanted Adams until I saw his price, and would have liked to have had MVS as a Plan B.

Kupp can still be both those players. He's worth adding.
To the teenagers. That’s funny thank you.

I agree it would have to be the right terms. Like really a 1yr deal with incentives for being on the field, but with team option for 2 years.
But yeah I get it, we tend to like to bring up the young’ins without interference from an old geaser. Lol

Sounds like the Seahawks are pursuing Kupp. He may want to stay on the West coast and get to play the Rams twice a season to boot. Just saw the SeaHags signed DeMarcus Lawerence.

Did they cancel the draft?
