How would a throw to Lazard be as big a gainer? Lazard was only 15 yards or so beyond the LOS. He might have picked up another 10 or 15 on the ground but that's about it. The throw he made went 50 yards or so in the air.

Ill screenshot a pic of the all 22 later...Lazard might have scored on that play

Again, if Rodgers threw interceptions and fumbled the ball away, as well as made poor passes, you bet I blame him. This last game, I would put more blame on the offensive line, than I would directly on Rodgers. I don't get peoples desire to pin the loss directly on Rodgers. What would the score have been if Love was the QB?

13-0

So with a nice throw from Rodgers Lazard catches the ball running across the field about the Packer 45 with room to run and Adams blocking...id say he makes it to about the 49er 35 yard line, before getting tackled and thats if the 2 or 3 guys that would have had a chance make the tackle and dont miss it.

Had Adams made the catch hes touched down about the 49er 22 yard line...so id say the plays would have ended up in similar results with the throw to Lazard having a higher potential to go for a td

I'd rather have Rodgers than anyone else. Anyone. I want him back..But he isnt above being criticized

Again. ST plays average they win. We all agree.

Do you agree with this statement?

if offense (offense as a whole not just one player) does what they are supposed to do (score points) they win.
I do

Some (not saying LTF) have been waiting for months to have the opportunity to **** on Rodgers just because of the offseason stuff. THAT is what you're saying from many. Not the more level minded ones, but from MANY, it's just because they finally have the opportunity.
For the record the off field stuff pissed me off…. but I’m not blind to what he means to the team on the field.

Loves inexperience and level of play contributed greatly to the loss, correct...IMO.

Now I don't remember what the Special teams did, didn't they allow a blocked FG against the Chiefs?

The Team lost the playoff game, the defense played well enough to win, the offense while not playing as well as some wanted them to, still scored enough, that they win the game if the Special teams doesn't allow a blocked FG and a blocked punt for a TD.

How's that? lol
All I ask is that people should be able to say Rodgers could have played better.

He even said it on Pats show. Something to the affect of he lost rythm?

Except that’s not all you ask. Everyone I’ve seen that has commented on here has said Rodgers could have played better. Since we’ve all said that at one point… you are not satisfied with that.

I think most posts I have read acknowledge that he was anywhere from "not his best game" to "the guy stinks".

Like I said before, pretty much to a man, the offense could have played better. The defense played a pretty solid game and the special teams sucked.

There always seems to be a BUT

Just read some of the replies to me.

Sure aaron could played better. But 10 points was enough..

One ladt time.

Offense needed 14 to win and didnt get it. For what ever reason, the offense didnt score enough. Plain and simple.

Thats my and a lot of others in the interwebs opinions.

You or whoever thinks different, thats your opinion.

Tired of this. My opinion doesnt need to be nit picked. Doesnt need to be dragged out every post..doesnt need to be twisted.

I wanted offense to score more

I did forget to add, at least in the last post, but I've mentioned it several times. Hats off to the 49'ers defense. I think after that first Packer TD drive, they really played phenomenally well. DeMeco Ryan's did a hell of a good job coaching them up. I am actually interested to see how they stop the Rams. They have beaten the Rams twice already, but I have no clue if key players were out for either side.

>75 completion %, 350 yds, and 3 TDs despite 5 quick sacks and several other pressures. He clearly outplayed Brady despite having significantly more pressure but unfortunately wasn't gifted a TD by his defense (Jones fumbled inside of GB 10). If Kevin King wasn't trash or Jones doesn't fumble, you win.
How many 3 and outs? How many trips to the end zone with FGs instead of touchdowns. Points…. Not stats… win games

That is a really hard question to answer definitively. Since how many points were they "supposed to score" against the 49'ers defense? Was the first TD a fluke and they should have only had 3 FG's? Or should they have had 2 more TD's?

Now, one could say "If the offense played better, they probably score more points and win the game." Again though, that means the 49'ers don't do things different too.
The opponent doesn’t matter nor does the field, weather conditions etc. If you score 10 points, you deserve to lose in today’s NFL. How that can even be questioned is unbelievable to me.

This of course assumes Rodgers hasn’t already started a throwing motion and Lazard still hadn’t cleared the underneath defender and assumes Rodgers has time to hold it longer

This seems to be the first thing people point to when the Packers don't win; "Aaron Rodgers wasn't Aaron Rodgers, this loss is on him."

This isn't the first time in Rodgers career that he ran into a defense that just played him really well. Fans expecting him to be able to prevent that from happening in every game, are expecting too much.

If he was superman, the Packers would never lose a game. If he was playing 1 on 1 against another guy, he probably wins. But football is a team sport, he needs other guys to step up on occasion, who else did on offense? On special teams?

The offense and the defense did enough to win the Game, the special teams did not.
The offense stunk! They scored 10pts - lol!

Defense - yes / Rotten Teams - he** no / Offense - Oh they sure did

Special teams was as bad as it gets, but AR certainly did not play at a good enough level for this team to win

Im not saying Rodgers played great Im saying despite how he played if the special teams doesnt give up a blocked punt for a td the 49ers never get in the end zone in that game
