Wilson willed that team..

He almost did it

Which is why even as tough as it was to see him cut our lead, I just can't be too ******* this defense because he will do that to a lot of opposing defenses. The Vikes learned this the hard way.

I'm just glad Garropolo doesn't have that capability.

Jimmy G can't run like Russell and is prone to interceptions, I feel that with the/this old Rodgers we can win it

That's the positive. But they do have a George Kittle and a far better running game.

Aaron Rodgers 8-10 for 131 yards on 3rd down. That’s what it takes situationally to win playoff games. If there was any doubt whether or not he can still get it done with the money on the line, there shouldn’t be anymore.

That's a "few" important 3rd down plays...

Run first team....so.....

Niners are built to stop the run. What is your answer? Throw to Adams 20 times? Rodgers MUST take what the defense gives him next week and not endlessly look for his security blanket. If Kumerow is open for 4 yards underneath, you take it. If he gets tunnel vision, as he tends to do when he panics, it won't be an ugly win. It'll be an ugly loss. It all rides on the mindset of #12.

The mindset of #12 will be to do what it takes to win the football game.

Definitely agree. This and the accuracy, which was there today

Jimmy G throws interceptions so we will be able to capitalize on one or two is my thinking

Studs-

Aaron Rodgers - throwing dimes all over the field in clutch situations. He is Back!

Davante Adams - He made huge route adjustments and really is a deadly weapon

Jimmy Graham - the old man still has some tread on his tires and came up aces

Jace Sternberger - this surprised me, his blocking was stellar

Jaire Alexander - he played very well until Pettine called for zone, which stops no one.

Smith bros - 4 sacks and crucial sack by Preston. Huge huge energy came from Z too

Kenny Clark - showing leadership by getting on his cohorts. Really not their fault as much as it was Pettine's scheme

Amos - again nice coverage and good grit for a young player until Pettine put him out of his element.

Duds-

Pettine - not making adjustments soon enough, step on the throat of the opponent. Ridiculous zone stops no qb this deep in the playoffs. Do this at SF and get throttled.

JK Scott - choking on a crucial punt, but had a nice boomer at the beginning

Rashan Gary - growing pains needs to be more creative on his pass rush

Blake Martinez - does not pay attention to contain enough and guesses wrong a LOT. Also his zone coverage was absolutely putrid.

All in all, another ugly W but who knew? On to SF and the key here is 2 things - stopping Kittle and the run. And get Alexander on mighty mouse. I think our offense can get to SF if they spread the ball and spread the defense out. The key here is experience. Rodgers will need to show his swagger in this game and continue to throw darts. I am overjoyed by this young group. I never saw it coming. Go pack go!!

idc what anyone said. GB just played a team and held on to beat a team that beat the 49ers first meeting and were inside 1 foot shy of beating the 49ers again a couple weeks ago.

This team is 1 Win from a SB appearance.m

IF we win the SB.. can we not do the Dud thing just that once??

Stud - Matt LaFleur for putting the ball and game in Aaron Rodgers hands at the end. He didn't call 3 running plays in row, punt the ball, and hope the defense will make a stop. That's how you win football games.

Studs: A big team win
MLF for showing signs of running the O that’s necessary to win
I actually saw some slants and short passes to move the sticks.
That’s playoff football.
Rodgers for moving the sticks
Davonte was ON

Duds: lost intensity in the second half
Looked like they were starting to choke

There was no doubt in my mind when it was 3rd and 9 they had to pass and try to win the game and not give the ball back to Wilson with 2 minutes left. But in the back of my mind I wondered what Mike McCarthy would have done.

Dud:

Blake Martinez. He was at fault for Wilson's runs and Homer's catches. Way being the play. Crucial misses which kept the chain moving.
