When a play goes bad, Rodgers reacts with the look of "What the H where you thinking dude, didn't you see what I was seeing?"
That attitude grew the longer he was in Green Bay and I think he tried to squash it a bit in New York, but its back.
That "hands on his hips death stare" really made me think a lot less of him, and that started early on. The first time I saw him do that was to Jermichael Finley in a playoff game, I think the 2011 season. Finley was coming across the middle wide open and Rodgers drilled him with a chest-high rocket that was almost behind Finley, and he couldn't quite twist around enough to gather it in.
He probably should have caught it, but still, it was not an easy pass to catch, and Rodgers could have made it easier - but he was wound so tight that day he was throwing like a bazooka, sort of like Favre used to do until he settled down.
I didn't particularly like seeing that, but as the years went by I saw a lot more of it. After Love got here, yeah... his attitude just went completely around the bend, and it didn't take long before a team that had revered him couldn't wait to get his attitude out of town.
And now I'm just amazed, watching him dismantle the entire Jet's organization. Throws his teammates under the bus, forces the team to sign and trade for player they can't afford and who then don't produce, gets his coach fired, gets his GM fired, and blames every single thing on everyone else. I don't think I've ever seen a single, individual player do so much damage to an organization before. That ego is just incredible.
