I probably got this a little off topic, so I’m moving my response to a thread @AmishMafia started

Packer Receivers in 2004

Were obviously at that point we can evaluate and it’s a fun topic and loaded also

Now reports that the owner wanted to bench Rodgers after week 4?

Going into the season I wasn't particularly rooting for any path to the Jets season. If they were successful, great. If it was a dumpster fire, great. Whatever path the choose your own adventure book "Aaron Rodgers, Jets QB" took was going to be entertaining.

At this point now I just want the dumpster fire for the entertainment value. The full on Saving Private Ryan scene where they torch the pillbox, guys are jumping out on fire and someone yells "Don't shoot, let 'em burn!"

I feel the same way about Rodgers and the Jets. I'm happy with the way this all turned out for the Packers, that is the draft capital from the Rodgers/Adams trades. Rodgers was a great QB for GB and for most of his career, seemed like an OK guy - some family/relationship problems but that covers just about all of us.

He got truly strange after the Love trade, and I mean truly strange. I get that he would be pissed off by the pick, but it seemed to motivate him to play his best ball for the next two years. But the ayahuasca and the darkness retreats and the condescending voice/attitude and inability to accept any responsibility - yeah it was time to move on.

Even so, had the Jets been successful, fine w/ me as long as as the Packers keep winning. It does seem like Father Time has caught up with him. And with his personality, can't see him doing any kind of network/broadcast work. Even Jeopardy told him "no thanks".
