Basically, the TE position has evolved to being a big extra WR. If you can get a guy who does both, like Heath Shuler, great. But they're rare.

Since you quoted my post, I assume your "corrections" were aimed at me. I posted: "Yes, since Carroll has been HC of the Seahawks, they’re 2-4 at St. Louis..." "they're" is a contraction of "they are", "there" would have been incorrect.

No, not aimed at you. Sorry for that. I was joking in general.

Maybe you should look up the fact that the Saints front office got rid of Graham cause they thought he was soft and not worth the salary they were paying him.

A fact is something that is proved to be true, quoting Ian Rapoport or some other experts on Twitter doesn't fall into that category.

Meant Miller of the Steelers, Cap. My bad.

With this offense just give me the 2nd comming of Bubba Franks and call it a day. Good blocker and had the size and knew how to use it in the endzone. Wouldn't even care about him not getting open between the 20s

Bubba would be great but he was picked #14 in the first round. Let's hope the Packers aren't drafting there (or higher) for years. BTW, who do you like at #32 of the 2016 draft? :D

I like a trade down to pick 43 with 74 added to Ted's arsenal.

Yep. In that 2000 draft Wolf exercised 13 picks and also selected OT Chad Clifton in the second, LB Na'il Diggs in the fourth, DE KGB in the fifth, and OT Mark Tauscher in the seventh.

I'd also add in that he drafted Steve Warren, a short but stout defensive lineman who (I believe) suffered a bad quad/upper leg injury and never competed after that. It was still a good pick and an overall fine draft.

Good "catch" on Warren. He was picked in the third round of that draft and I too liked the pick. One of the knocks on him was short arms but he had set Nebraska record for passes deflected.

Mike Sherman said, "You can eat peanuts off of his head" in reference to his height. He was Mike Daniels before there was a Mike Daniels.

Think the Seahawks are too deep in our head. 28-24 Seahawks, scoring a TD late to go ahead. Probably some goofy garbage too like last winter.

Thanks for this informative thread of postings. Sounds like a lot of what I am thinking too. I just hope that the score I have seen up here in this thread is just a tiny bit off. I have seen 24-21....I just hope the hawks have the ball last and not like what was shown last weekend. I debated the winner, but on my board went with the Hawks. I hope I am right. Hope it is a great game and no injuries. Go Hawks.
